There are 2 downsides to this place. (1) The queues on Saturdays. (2) Never enough cruffins :). Pollen is a great bakery. Beautiful bread - by smell, sight and ultimately, the taste. Such a great variety of breads, cakes, puds and nibbles. To be honest, I don't go as often as I could or should. So what do they go and do? ... They move closer to my home. :) :) :) See you soon guys and good luck with the move.

The sourdough bread from here is just amazing. The rye is my favourite. This place supplies top restaurants so you know its good if chefs buy it in. They also make incredible cakes including brownies and the 'cruffin' (only available Saturday mornings) which is cross between a croissant and a muffin!

Among the best Bakeries around these parts. The queueing is definitely worth it. The popular stuff like the sourdough gets sold out soon so get there in time. They're moving soon to Ancoats , where they'll have a cafe too. Looking forward to that. Good luck guys

The best bakery in Manchester. Love everything in Pollen Bakery. Hating queuing honestly, but for Pollen Bakery is worthy.

Worth waiting in a queue the rain. The bread is absolutely lovely. We also had the cinnamon buns which were perfect and a buttermilk cake which was so soft and delicious I wish I'd bought more. If you visit Manchester you should find it!
