Had food from here twice. It was absolutely amazing. The staff clearly work very hard as there has always been a queue - which in it self speaks for how good their food is that people are willing to queue up.nnI do however feel they'd be better off getting a bigger shop, or making the customer side bigger as it is very small. This will allow us to look at the items a bit better, so we can purchase other items or maybe more items! Just a suggestion for management, but definitely a 5* rating for this place even in its current form!
Beautiful boulangerie in Didsbury! Absolutely delicious pastries, cakes, and bread. Authentic and artesanal. I bought some chocolate eclairs and a chocolate cake for my girlfriend’s birthday, and they were delectable. Would recommend to one and all! :-
La Chouquette was my first stop on a self-organised food tour of Didsbury!nnThe Almond Croissant came recommended, and it was a great choice: big, covered in almond flakes and a moist filling.nnWe also shared a madeleine and two financiers: the Raspberry & Coconut one had to be my favourite.
The best patisserie in the Manchester area. All of their products are beautifully made, and their Paris-Brest is one of the best I've had. Highly recommend.
So lucky to have La Chouquette on our doorstep!nWhat a marvellous, genuine patisserie. The award winning sourdough is incredible. My advice would be to buy double as you will want more. The quiche is excellent. The flavours are subtle and delicious. It’s a little shop with no seating but perfect for a picnic or to eat at home.
