What a fantastic place. The facilities are second to none. You are looked after 24 hour a day. There's nurses on duty 24 hours as well. The treatment was outstanding from the physio and sports coaches. If you don't pay into Flint house do.
Excellent physio and rehab staff. The facilities are superb. I can't fault the food and catering staff. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. And having been recently for the mental wellbeing course I can highly recommend that too. The nurses are knowledgeable and approachable.
I’ve just spent two weeks at Flint House. I cannot express enough how amazing this place is. It’s meticulously clean, the food is superb and with such a good range. The staff are all so friendly. The rooms are comfortable and have all you would need. Most importantly I wish to extend my sincere thanks to Lorna Collins my personal physio for her unstinting care, professionalism and attention to detail and to all the physios, nurses and care staff for their commitment to the patients. They were all so friendly and good fun. Thank you all xx
I cannot recommend flint house enough. I have come for the week to make use of the mental health services. I have put it off for a year and am kicking myself I waited this long. The level of care is just amazing. The food is beautiful and the staff here are just amazing people. I have learnt so many new skills and feel life will be a lot easier/manageable. This is the best I have felt in years, I am truly thankful to have been here and I cannot thank everyone enough for such a wonderful experience that I will not forget!!!
I recently went to Flint House for 2 weeks for a back and shoulder problem and cannot speak highly enough about the experience. The staff are amazing, the grounds are breathtaking and all of the treatments left me feeling brand new; I haven’t felt this well in ages. I went for a physical issue but found that the experience also greatly benefitted my mental health. Last but not least, the food is delicious, there is so much to choose from and enjoy.
Excellent physio & classes. In particular Ashley / Nathan. Already feel stronger & in good hands. Both these gents are a laugh, definitely helps when pushing yourself! The catering is excellent. Lunch is out of this world with jacket potatoes & really varied salad & protein choices. Hot meals also available The wonderful catering ladies if you are struggling doing their best to let you go into a quieter area. The canteen is challenging for neurodivergent individuals- I hate that term. Yoghurt on request to help me stay healthy and avoid the temptation of what looked incredibly tasty desserts! Probably my only observation is to put it out for all as an accessible option. But would it be wasted so maybe just a sign on request etc Love the area, didn’t bother with a map and found routes through the hills, fields & woodland. Don’t be afraid to ask for things but be reasonable! The staff here are outstanding.
The best for treatment and wellbeing. Fantastic staff. Great food vegan for me all dietary needs catered for. Great facilities
I have used the facilities a few times as a serving officer following injuries. The whole setup and staff are amazing and 100% worthwhile. Two serious ACL replacements and a shattered Fib-tib and my recovery was much quicker following treatment!
One of the few things the job had got right, top draw rehab and mental health facilities for members. Should be compulsory that you spend a week a year up here to recharge your batteries. Staff are professional, friendly and know the needs of visitors inside out. Facilities and location are above average and just what the doctor recommends
Happy to support this charity which helps injured officers to get well again. It's a really great place. Support it if you can.
