C O N S T A B L E ross, refused to investigate a serious crime against me, because im B L A C K. he ADMITTED he hadnt checked cctv in regards to FAKE allegations made against me, but told the police ombudsman the allegations were not malicious. how did you come to this conclusion, when you just stated you had not checked cctv to confirm i was indeed telling the truth?
Great hospitality. Officer Davy seemed to be in a bit of a mood with me for some reason apparently I talk too much but Officers Chris and Scott made up for it. Unfortunately my cell lacked many amenities which I think could be added at little to no cost. Toilet roll maybe? Also maybe some new mattresses, it's incredibly hard to sleep when your mattress and pillow is made out of them PE mats that did absolutely nothing to protect you in primary school. The same can't be said about the uniform though. Tracksuit is very comfortable and fits me perfectly. Sew a Stone Island badge on the corner and you can probably make back the money you spent on the taxi home. Breakfast was poor, but they did bring me milk on request which I appreciated. Only other thing I'd like to add is that I fell asleep without a blanket and woke up with one. Not sure what happened there but gave me the creeps. Despite this, I actually appreciated the gesture. Overall, I'd say stay clear unless they improve the guest experience. Waiting times are horrendous, but at least the staff like a laugh.
I enjoyed my visit. Nice car dropped me off, check in was a bit of pain. The room was nice and spacious with its own onsuite. Staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great and check out was quick and easy. Only real bad point was I did not get the free tracksuit everyone else got. Would highly recommend.
Been a while now since my last visit. Don't think I'll be back. Solid bed, not really a pillow, more comfort of an arm chair. The blanket was more of a gym mat. The bathroom was awful, I wouldn't recommend a number 2. Cuz u will be stuck with it the rest of the night. Strict no mobile phone policy. No WiFi or entertainment provided either. Not even a TV or Radio. Had to count sheep or play iSpy which wasnt really environmentally friendly for that type of game. Quite a few unwanted wake up calls in the middle of the night with other guests coming and going. Random rude awakenings and so on. Food was awful. Tracker bar and the cheapest ready meal money can buy is about the height of it. Small cups of water provided only, one gulp and it's gone. After a heavy nights drinking u think they would be a bit more considerate with the amount provided, give u a jug at least. They dont really like to be bothered after they leave u to ur room. Check out was a nightmare, too many hold ups and empty promises of quicker check out. Just couldn't get out of there fast enough. Got a free tracksuit though and got pushed out the door and into Victoria Square to show it off to the crowds of judgemental onlookers admiring ur new plain grey top notch no named outfit with ur black school gym gutties. Not a great experience overall. Definitely recommend avoiding this place. U wud find more peace and comfort on the street.
Highly professional officer's. 12/10 will arrest for no reason. Not enough leg room in the back of the police car. The cells makes up for it I suppose. Cell has it's own toilet, but don't ask anyone for toilet roll, it seems to aggravate the working officers in their natural habitat. They will give you a super cool grey tracksuit, overall comfy. Food could be better, I was offered a fry, and up to today I'm still not sure what exactly I was handed.. so, make sure youre well feed before heading there. If you cry a wee bit in the end they'll give you a lift home no questions asked. Good alternative to backpackers.
Great sleepover, the two officers who found me walking home after a few drinks decided to drive me further away, they took me and gave me cold itchy clothes! Bathroom was a little dated, I mean who has stainless steel toilet bowls anymore? And dont commit to a great big poo before checking for toilet roll because the awkward short walk to the buzzer with a dirty arse is not pleasant. Bed was like sleeping on two paving stones but was made easier to cope with when your given a large sheet of sandpaper to cover your freezing body with. Dont be expecting any views in this room, the journey to the room reminds you somewhat of Alcatraz....not that I'm in any rush to rent a room there either. Food, eh. There was some. And after drinking my allocated water bottle and sobering up instantly from the shock and horror, minutes felt like hours. Would not recommend, next time il run and not cooperate. Still better than the Etap.
The staff are very caring and helpful. I had an inquiries, which should be handled by another branch. The officer called them and arranged an appointment for me and gave me full instruction. Then, everything went smoothly with no confusion.
Staff where very welcoming and pleasant, even the free ride down in a spotless car that had blue lights imagine that, beds are very comfortable and meals delivered to the door, exiting the building was very pleasing and staff where even happy enough to escort me to the gates, will 100% be back in the future
Like paying a visit to Magilligan, passing through 1 electronic gate and can't pass through the other electronic gate until the first electronic gate you passed through has fully shut in order to go to reception desk. Lovely...
Is my 2nd home starting to love it
