We love to visit. There is so much to see and do: viewing the house, walking round the gardens, looking out for squirrels or sitting in the bird hide. There are some lovely hidden gems, paths down to the sea, the tree house, pretty little Dells and the Italian garden. There is a cafe at the entrance as well as within the house, with shops also in both locations. There is also a regular program of activities which are well worth joining in. We have enjoyed punch and Judy shows and scavenger hunts. We look forward to our next visit.

The house itself is really well preserved and laid out and you can really take your time going through and seeing each room. The gardens and grounds are definitely worth walking around especially because there can be the added bonus of spotting some red squirrels as you head through the wooded areas.

run by National Trust. Lots of activities on during school holidays. Nature walks and bird spotting . Gardens very pleasant with wonderful view of menai Straits. House is open most days. Two cafes offer hot food, cakes, coffee and tea. Open every day at the moment.

Great few hours here. Lots of history. And the Liverpudlian telling us all about the huge whistler painting is a credit to the place. All the staff are very helpful and clearly love working here.

Great Easter egg hunt. Lovely gardens. Interesting house. Food quite expensive and not very special.
