Visited for a day with my wife and kids. The butterflies are nice and there were plenty of them flying around, though it was quite busy when we went.
This is good, however the pathways are all very thin and as such, for a family orientated place, if you have a pushchair it can be very hard to make it around. Spent the walk around feeling as though I was stuck in traffic. This is something you learn to deal with when you have kids, however the park was nowhere near the size that we were expecting it to be or that I feel that the price tag dictates. After a half hour, there is little more to do than to have something to eat or head to the soft play area. Good for an hour or two if the weather is bad, though I would not return and feel that there are many other attractions nearby that are similarly priced that would offer a full day of entertainment for a family.

I thought it would be more suited towards younger children but I really enjoyed the visit! There were so many different areas, plus I never thought I would say "I'm scared of the butterflies." 😁

Would not recommend. It's clear the profits are not going back into the business and the welfare of the animals. Everything looks run down and dated. Many of the animals are cooped up in uncomfortable looking enclosures (particularly the birds) and don't look like they have much quality of life at all. Many of the enclosures we're poorly maintained. We left the place feeling depressed and deflated. Very disappointed, I went with a family of ten and at £8+ each it's not worth it. The place is also much smaller than you are led to believe. We arrived to a woman requesting a refund due being misled regarding the size of the place. Staff were unwelcoming and were very apathetic. It's a shame that this place is allowed to be kept at a standard that low.

Nice little nature centre. Good for a cold and rainy day as the butterfly house is wonderfully warm! Meercats, lizards, insects, snakes, pets and farm animals to see. Nice outdoor playground and indoor playbarn with coffee shop so you can grab a cuppa while the kids play.
Reasonably priced cafe but there was a 30 minute wait for food in the cafe. Not enough staff really to cope with a busy day but nice food when it did arrive.

Some truly beautiful butterflies and other animals such as parrots and meerkats. Nice enough cafe and a decent latte. Brilliant for kids
