Great value, and the best piece of fish I’ve had in ages. Had 1 cod, 1 haddock, scampi, pie, and large chips for £16. Would definitely go back.

The manager is so rude and speaks to people like they are dog crap on your shoe. Myself, my two year old son and my partner have now got food poisoning from their food. When they were confronted about this, they blamed me and told me it was something I cooked. They took no responsibility and therefore ending up with me ringing environmental health. Very disgraceful!! Won't ever be returning!!

Lost in Shropshire and needed food, happened upon Plaice. Traditional fish and chips, rather greener than green proper mushy peas and a bit of a twist with kebab butties. Oh also does a large selection of take away curries, but we didn't get to those. Very friendly staff let us sit in and supplied plates, cutlery and all the condiments. Didn't try the Greedy Pig box, but looked a tempting mix of assorted fried stuff for the extra hungry. Take a look at their website for a comprehensive menu. I'll be back if I'm ever in Oswestry again.
