Sunday best for the discerning Pikey. Overpriced frozen dough and tinned toppings. Pay the chef a pound and he might wash his hands just for you. Great place for watching the waiting staff handle dirty cutlery, pick up used serviettes and then man-handle your pizza at the pass, touch the parsley and finger your dessert. All rather off-putting I'm afraid. If you are very lucky you might get to witness the chefs carry full bags of refuse through the kitchen and through the restaurant, mid-service. Disgusting.

A recent refurbishment has brought a new lease of life to what was already one of the best Pizza Express restaurants I have been to. The staff are always welcoming and, in my opinion, the pizza here is a good as you can get in any of the high street chain restaurants

I want my favourite pizza to be from some family run restaurant called ‘Valentina’s’ but as much as I’ve tried it’s actually Pizza Express’s American Hottest Romana which holds the title. You need to ask for it especially these days as it’s ex-menu but they normally can deliver the goods. It’s truly the daddy of pizzas, it doesn’t get better than this. This restaurant in Guildford does the business, ticks the boxes but be mindful that from 12-2pm on Saturdays it’s toddler-city.

overall, just like any other pizza express, food was lovely although here the service wasn't the best. i don't think it was their fault as there were a lot of people there and lots of tables to serve, but when we tried to get their attention, it was difficult.

Recent refurb has given the place a fresh new feel, can't go wrong with his place.
