I have extreme anxiety regarding visits to the dentist but I have always been treated with the utmost kindness and respect. Whilst I can't say that I look forward to my visits I can say that I am no longer terrified and I know that I will be listened to and treated with compassion and respect.
Mr Critchley is a fine dentist but you rarely get to see him. Check ups are carried out by a lady called Una a nice enough lady but has the habit of cancelling your appointments at short notice 3 times my last appointment was preceded by a request for up front payment incase I was a no show. Honestly I should be asking them for a deposit to honour their side. Annoyed so left the money grabbing practice
Had a brilliant experience following trauma to my dislodged front tooth. Dan & the dental nurse were excellent.
I think the whole team here are lovely and friendly which as a nervous patient has helped me massively. I had my first treatment today a filling! and the dentist & her helper went out of their way to put me at ease - I know I'm not an ideal patient! Thank you very much, I'm feeling much more confident for next time.
They’re okay. Very friendly team, but possibly a little more focussed on profit / cosmetic work than general dentistry and oversubscribed for routine work. If you are considering clear aligners and think they might offer better results than remote options Smile Direct Club etc, that may not be the case. The process took a lot of retries, including being given stage 9 instead of stage 6 at one appointment underline the numbers? which made for a fairly uncomfortable week!
Definitely not impressed with the service received at this clinic. The dental exam seemed rushed, they missed several issues, and it took them over a month to put together a treatment plan, which they only provided after several enquiries from my side. They mentioned the reason for the delay was that treatment plans are complex and include a lot information, but once I received it and to my disappointment, it was clear it included only the same basic information that was discussed during the consultation, it was generic and barely tailored to my case, almost like a copy paste from the website price list, and the information it included was not fully accurate. By then, fortunately, I had already found another clinic.
Just had a root canal today , the team were really good , they kept asking if I was ok, and talked me through what they were doing . I was really nervous , but they made me feel comfortable and in safe expert hands .
Staff were all kind and friendly. I feel valued as an individual and that Chloe was advising the best thing for me and my teeth rather than just wanting to get money out of me! I am very happy with all my experiences here. Edit: I've now had my treatment and am thrilled with the result. The staff genuinely care about my welfare and all have been brilliant. Chloe was almost artistic in the treatment, creating a natural result which meant I spent less money as I was encouraged to look 'natural' rather than 'perfect'. I could not recommend this practice highly enough.
I had a lengthy appointment booked but was made to feel at ease throughout the treatment. The process was explained upfront, and it was followed to the letter. Post treatment advice was also provided.
I've just completed my Invisalign treatment with Chloe and Natalie, and I could not be happier. The receptionists are always friendly and welcoming. Other staff members always said hello. Chloe and Natalie were always friendly, knowledgeable and could not do enough for me. So pleased I chose to have my treatment with Pittvillelawn. Highly recommended! Thank you
