I have been registered with Hewlett Road Dental Practice for the last 17 years; during this time there have been two changes of ownership and several changes of staff. Ursula Clarke the Hygienist has been working at the practice since before I joined. I always look forward to my appointments with Ursula who is an experienced professional with the highest standards. She is very gentle and thorough and always does a first class job. We are all aware that following the pandemic Dental Practices have suffered financially, with Dentists leaving the profession or moving abroad. I am pleased to say that my new Dentist, Mr Keshan Pillay … whom I have seen on several occasions, has exceeded my expectations and provided me with five-star dental treatment. Keshan goes above and beyond the call of duty and has treated me with the utmost respect and sensitivity, for which I am very grateful. I have heard other patients commend his treatment with similar enthusiasm. Mr Nish Patel is a very caring and conscientious owner whose priority is to provide an excellent service for all patients within a pleasant, comfortable and safe environment. In conclusion, I am delighted with the quality of care and first class dental treatment I receive from the Hewlett Road Dental Practice. My appointments at Hewlett Road Dental are always a pleasure. My dentist Keshan is very informative and friendly, as is the hygienist Ursula. I always leave with new helpful information about my dental health and feel well looked after
I have been going to this dental surgery for over 20 years and I have always been looked after brilliantly. The present staff are really nice and I feel very well looked after and kindly treated. My check up today by Chris Hughes was the most thorough I have ever had which gives me confidence. Ursula the hygienist is lovely.
HEATHER MINTON Delighted to hear that Hewlett Rd Dental practice is up and running again under new management. I was able to reopen my dental plan and received treatment the same day. The dental receptionist was pleasant and helpful, and the manager carefully and successfully guided me through the rejoining plan Very pleased with my new dentist who patiently explained the work that was needed. I would certainly recommend this practice.
This new dental practice is being completely overhauled due to problems with the previous ownership. Great improvements are being made to the decor and the reception staff are professional and courteous. My dentist Daria Ionescu is a very polite and competent dentist and I have today enjoyed some painless dentistry, ie a filling. The new practice is excellent.
I have recently joined the Hewlett road dental clinic and what can I say, Just the best, i cannot praise the care and quality of work i have had undertaken. Pamela from reception team and Sarah and the assistants really looked after me, excellent customer care, very calm and thorough treatment, not rushed If i could give more that a 5* i would. AMAZING !!
Having been in pain for a considerable time I visited another dentist who after examination and an x -ray told me she couldn't see anything. Went to see Chris who after a very thorough professional exam found an infection under 2 teeth. How good it is to find an exemplary practice.
I must be the most nervous person ever when it comes to visiting the dentist after a bad experience when having a root canal filling. Susan Jones was the first person to restore my faith when I needed a filling. A pleasant dentist who assured me throughout that I wouldn't feel a thing. This transpired to be correct. Imagine my horror when I received a bad knock to my mouth and needed two root canal fillings through a bridge, which I was told would be quite a tricky procedure. However, although taking in total 4hours I seriously need not have worried, as I didn't feel a thing! Doctor Irfan Jiwa is amazing! He talked me through every part of the procedure and told me that if at any time I felt uncomfortable, he would stop. I didn't need to. My faith has been restored. The whole practice is now very professional. Everyone I came in contact with was polite and helpful. Well done Hewlett Road. You have been transformed....
I’ve been going to this dentist since I was about 15. It was great up until it went private a couple of years ago, since it has gone down hill rapidly. First of all I had a gap between my two back teeth filled which came out after a month. It was re done again for free but it fell out again after three weeks! I called twice, left a voicemail but didn’t get a reply. As it wasn’t causing me pain I forgot about it. This year, after paying a monthly fee of £9.50 I think it is since going private, I’ve called a few times with weeks or months between calls. I always get the answer machine, I always leave a message saying I want a check up which I haven’t had for two years now and I never get a call or any response back. I’ve also left my email on the voicemail. Today I cancelled my dircet debit and will go elsewhere. This dentist was run much more efficiently and professionally under the NHS.
In my experience this practice has a very competent and efficient dentist in Mrs Jones. During my routine dental check she spotted something untoward on my neck which is now being treated. THAT is being super thorough.
