They kept pushing back my appointment by a month every month for half a year, then when I finally had it they just left me with a temporary filling because they ran out of time and told me to come back in 6 months.

All round amazing dentist. Although appointments can sometimes be difficult to get you have to understand a dentist is a busy place so take the rough with the smooth. Everyone is always very polite and I’ve never had a bad experience whilst attending. Fully recommend.

So a reality check. Rude dentist the one I had 3/4 month wait for a check up. Had my appointments cancelled twice even though I expressed my concerns.  Have had to go private, thanks but no thanks.

I received treatment today from a pair of professionals that was second to none. Dr Pranhan assisted by Sophie worked in perfect harmony. The care and personalised treatment received will put most anyone under ease.  The receptionist was also fantastic, welcoming and informative.  This is a very good team here at Cheltenham Dental Practice.

Been going here for about 5 years.   Two years ago was treated by a horrible female dentist who treated you like a naughty child.   She left and I was very happy with the new dentist.   Check ups were spread further and further apart.   Last month I got an email to say my 10 month appointment due next week had been cancelled.   When I asked why I was told the dentist was going on holiday.   I have heard nothing since regarding another appointment.  Couldn't  find  another  NHS dentist  so gave  them  another  chance.    What  a difference.    Treated with  respect  by all staff and  the new dentist  I saw was very gentle  and encouraging.    Would  now recommend them  without  hesitation.

I've been a patient here for a number of years and can fully recommend the practice. Always friendly and efficient service.  I see Danielle the hygienist every six months and she is brilliant. Not at all painful like some hygienists can be and my teeth feel and look much better after every visit.  They do have a high turnover of dentists unfortunately. I think I've seen a different one every time I've had a check-up, but having said that they have all been professional, friendly and consistent with their comments and advice for me and they are the main things you want as a patient after all.  Have posted this mainly as a counterpoint to some of the negative reviews that I feel are unfair. Don't be put off, because I'm a very nervous dental patient and if I've been going here for years even with different dentists every time then they must be doing plenty right

I had an appointment today and on arrival I explained to the 2 young girls on reception how nervous I was feeling. They both happily talked me through what I should expect in terms of the treatment which was very good of them and helped me to relax a little before I was called in. Before the dentist started my treatment she explained what would happen, which again helped me to relax a little more. After the treatment was over I really don’t know what I was so worried about as the whole experience was as they explained from start to finish. I would recommend anyone who is nervous about visiting the dentist to try this dental practice as they really do care for you.

Updated 20/06/2019: DO NOT use this dentist if it is within your means to find another option.  I have been a patient here for around 3 years, the last two routine 10 monthly check-ups have been cancelled by the surgery, sometimes with less than 48hrs notice and I have had to  contact them to re-book.  One of my appointments was cancelled 3 times by the surgery before the appointment actually stuck!  Today's experience was a routine check-up booked during my lunch hour.  I turned up on time, paid, and then waited for 30 minutes before asking the receptionist what was happening.  She said only that the dentist was busy, and did not inform me about the long delay due to multiple emergency appointments that had happened in the morning I only overheard this as another disgruntled patient asked her the same question 5mins after I did.  Total delay to my appointment was 45 minutes.  Not only did I waste my entire lunch break waiting for this appointment, I ultimately had to re-schedule a whole month away because I was due back at work for a meeting.  Bear in mind I have already paid for today's appointment which didn't happen!  The receptionists should inform all patients of any long delays on entry to the dentist, to allow those of us with time constraints to reschedule without delay, and for everyone else to be given an expectation of when they will be seen.

Been a patient here for a few years. Absolutely useless dentist. Can only ever fit you in for a '15 minute appointment'. Then make a 'treatment plan' and organise subsequent appointments which are then duly cancelled, sometimes only minutes before. I can't keep booking time off work for appointments to be cancelled.  Also, when I actually do manage to get in to get a problem fixed, I seem to have 2 more problems crop  moup within months, which then need another '15 minute assessment'  Website says opening times are 8.00am, but phone lines don't open till 8.30. another half hour wasted.  Not even worth the effort of becoming a patient. Only giving 1 star, because I can't give 0  Edit: Maria is a new dentist here and had fixed all of my problems that went sorted before. Excellent dentist and no cancelled appointments. Much improved - thank you and keep up the good work  Paul

Recently moved to Cheltenham and needed a dentist for my wife and I as we believe in preventive dentistry for good oral health.  Checked around the area and decided on this practice.  The best decision we could have made.  Two appointments were made for my wife and I to have one after the other.  Our dentist is called Alex and he was brilliant, one of the best dentists I have had over my life time and I am 64.  Brilliant patient manner which put me totally at ease straight away. Unhurried attitude to check my teeth properly and ask relevant questions regarding general and oral health, he was wonderful, and his assistant male nurse who was very attentive as well.  My wife was next after me and she had the same excellent treatment Alex putting her at ease and explaining everything as well... she came out with a smile on her face saying what a lovely dental appointment that was as he was so gentle and caring.  I can only recommend this practice to anyone who needs a good dentist with a marvellous patient attitude and excellent customer service with  the receptionists as well.
