Probably the best chip shop in Essex. A good variety of localy fresh caught fish and generous portions of chips. Nice friendly staff, and always busy, which is a good indicator of the quantity of food They also have a card reader.

Disappointed! After reading reviews was thinking this could be an amazing meal. We were sorely disappointed. We went in at opening time to find expensive small portions, the fish hadn't been skinned and for some reason they still fry in beef dripping, making everything taste like roast potatoes. Maybe try double frying if you want to be different. Thankfully we are not from the area and so won't have to suffer this chippy again.

Can't see how anyone can fault the service of quality of food. We use Pieseas regularly and even booked them for our wedding for over 100 people. Not one cold or soggy chip in sight and was piping hot, even having been transported up the road. Well done Pieseas - Top Grubb! :0)

Cant remember the last time I tasted fresh fish and chips this good, good selection of fish and excellent customer service, will be back soon.

Very good chips here! Really nice to get a bag and walk along the prom! The fish is good too, we always come here. Proper seaside place! With nice service!
