Pierre Hermé

About

Pierre Hermé received the title of World's Best Pastry Chef in June 2016 by the World's 50 Best Restaurants Academy.

Story

Heir to four generations of Alsatian bakery and pastry-making tradition, Pierre Hermé began his career at the age of 14 as an apprentice to Gaston Lenôtre.

Famous all around the world, the man that Vogue called "the Picasso of Pastry" revolutionized pastry-making with regard to taste and modernity. With "pleasure as his only guide", Pierre Hermé invented his own unique world of tastes, sensations and pleasures, an original approach to the profession of pastry chef which led him to revolutionize even the most firmly entrenched traditions.

Created in 1997 by Pierre Hermé and Charles Znaty, the company has been expanding strongly since 2010 on the international scene with several boutiques now located in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The first Pierre Hermé Paris boutique opened in Tokyo in 1998, followed in 2001 by a boutique in Paris at 72 rue Bonaparte. Success was immediate in Tokyo and Paris alike.

Pierre Hermé Paris operates an online boutique at www.pierreherme.com, is a member of the Comité Colbert and has established partnerships with the Raffles group, Ritz Carlton group and Dior since the opening of the Café Dior by Pierre Hermé in Seoul in June 2015.

In June 2016, Pierre Hermé received the title of World’s Best Pastry Chef by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy.

Amazing, best macaron I’ve ever tried! Much much better than Laduree, Fauchon that famous for Macaron. Deep flavour and soft and gooey filling.
Some of the best chocolates, ice cream, macarons
We come directly to this place for Macaroon. The guy is very nice and the shop is on good location. If you like something sweet, try Pierre Hermé.
The salted caramel macaroon was to die for. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. The member of staff that attended to us was friendly, polite and knowledgeable. My daughter loved these macaroons she would have eaten everything in the shop if I had let her!
So nice! Can get expensive if you've had a few drinks before entering!!....a silver caviar one at over £3 was the proof of that!
Quite disappointed that they don’t have the large macaroons they have in Paris. The price is also quite on the high end.
Here is a little taste of Paris in Covent Garden. Do not miss this
The best macaroons everrr.. must go for anyone in London
My favourite macaroon place. The staff are very nice and helpful with their recommendations. I recommend the chocolate and rose ones. In winter the truffle macaroon is a must!
