A very funny night of comedy which we got tickets for from Buckt. Decent range of drinks available at the bar. The host was very funny! It started quite late and the seats were quite uncomfortable which were the only negatives.
Decided to go on spur of moment. Enjoyed the show. Geoff Innocent was the best. Venue above the pub, you wouldn't know it was there. Worth it for a bit of fun and a laugh.
Had a great night, would definitely go again.
What i can say is worth the trip from manchester.28/01/2023.The acts where top , my wife booked the tickets for the stand up club.Great night well worth the money.
Loved it, but lost my arse in the attempt... Seriously, the chairs are beyond uncomfortable! It should be the comedians' job to make you uncomfortable not the chairs'! Show was half an hour late. Drinks were expensive. The host couldn't stop talking about her menopause. But overall, an informative sex-ed session. At least Ive learnt how a tall man and a short comedian 69, so you win some, you lose some. Either way, can't wait to come back, however, with a pillow next time
Great night Saw some good live acts, very well organised with breaks in between for drinks important!. Good mix of comedians and great centrally located venue. Jake Steers was my favourite - not only a great comedian but he made my day when he shook his head when someone tried to place a chair in front of my friend's - that's what I call mucking in! I was super happy as I won the prize draw for free tickets. So I will be going back!
Very enjoyable night and highly recommend. The comedy room itself is ideal - view, sound plus space all good and also allowed for audience participation/to take the receiving end from the comedian all friendly. Overall venue is perfect - drinks, grub and variation of things to do before and after the event. All staff were spot on and seemed to go out of their way to make sure the night was enjoyable for everyone.
Great night. Friendly staff. Funny comedians. Well worth the visit and will go again.
A really funny night out for me and my partner. The comedians we saw were excellent for a Friday night, the staff were friendly and some comedians stayed after the show to chat. The venue is smaller and more intimate, so if you're near the front you're likely to be picked out. It did make the night a lot funnier.
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the acts, also a great host. They had two intervals for drink breaks. Plenty of seats available but quite squished together.
