"Physioworks is a Chartered Physiotherapy & Pilates Clinic est. 1992, on Wimpole Street, in the Harley Street Medical area of London. Warrick McNeill Physio & Suzy Barton Pilates are experts in analysing movement, pain & injury and using exercise within their professional approach. Physioworks apply their specialist movement knowledge to help treat those who have aches and pains & would just like to be pain free & move better. A number of our clients come from Theatre, Dance, & Circus worlds, both professional & undergraduate. Ergonomics is a speciality. Warrick's work is succinct and accurate and the exercises he gives allow me to continue my work as a dancer and aerialist whilst addressing areas of my practice which needs strengthening. He is always my first recommendation for others in the performance industry.
Warrick has helped me recently with my back. I have had chronic back pain for years, and Warrick helped more than anyone before. He taught me how to stand, walk and move differently, and with more awareness of how the correct postures would ease the discomfort. I learnt how some ways of moving hurt, and why, and so was able to completely rethink all movement. The combination of less pain, and a greater understanding of how my body can work best, is pretty marvellous. The various exercises he suggested were precise, effective, and practical - they didn't take too long, and some of them I could do almost anywhere if needed.
I came to Warrick through recommendation as I was experiencing pain in my lower back on one side and generally felt unbalanced which was effecting my work as I am on my feet all day. Warrick very quickly assessed my imbalances and gave me practical exercises that fit into my every day life that would help correct it. It didn’t take long for my body to almost start auto correcting itself when I started to feel pain in that area. I know that it’s something I will be constantly working on but I know I have the tools to strengthen the appropriate areas to bring relief. He is professional and also easy going and great to work with.
Warrick and Suzy are brilliant! Warrick is personable, knowledgeable and treats me as a whole person rather than just a group of muscles. I’ve recently started Pilates with Suzy, so far so good - she’s listened to me and set homework that’s achievable. The treatment room is nice space, it’s always clean & tidy. Highly recommend for physiotherapy & Pilates.
Physiotherapist Warrick McNeil is fantastic. I have quite a physical job so am regularly damaging myself, but Warrick is excellent at fixing me up. But much more importantly he looked at the reasons I was getting injured and we have worked out a long term solution for strengthening my core and improving my methods of working. Since seeing Warrick my posture and strength have greatly improved. I thoroughly recommend Physioworks.
The best physiotherapist and pilates teachers in the UK. Warrick has helped me recover from various injuries. HIs Pilates teachers helped me maintain my recovery and reinvent my body so I can be healthy and mobile and avoid reinjury. I would highly recommend Physioworks
