I've always found Ryan Steer to be extremely professional during my recovery programme. He helped me to set realistic targets and provided excellent support until I hit my goal. His wealth of experience and knowledge is evident through the care and support he gave me throughout.

I went to see Ryan after picking up an injury during marathon training. He was excellent and quickly got me on the road to recovery. Aside from his physio skills, I liked his honesty and openness in terms of the potential recovery time and adjustments to my training plan.

I had a few sessions of physio with Larissa at Capital Physio for a painful knee. Larissa asked me the right questions to identify the problem and started each session with a general check of my progress/level of pain. She built me an exercise plan that went up in intensity as I got stronger, and also included physio massages which helped relax the muscles. This was now 2 months ago and I have been able to take up sports again, haven’t felt any pain since! I also feel confident as I know how to address the problem myself if it comes up again.

I saw Larissa for my back and shoulders, and then for my fractured leg. She was both friendly and professional, and was able to adapt my exercises to fit my lifestyle. She is good at acupuncture and I felt comfortable in all sessions. I would recommend her as a physio.

I first saw Ryan at Capital Physio for a persistent hip problem and after a few sessions of treatment and in addition to a personalised exercise plan it started to get much better but this was only the start. During one of these sessions Ryan took a look at a recent arm injury I had sustained playing rugby and diagnosed that I had ruptured my biceps tendon and that it would require surgery, something that the Urgent Care Centre at Guys had missed! Following the surgery my rehabilitation and recovery was tailored, managed and continually adapted by Ryan as we worked at getting my arm back to normality. It's now five months after my surgery and I have just had the last of my sessions and I am incredibly grateful to have been able to work with someone as knowledgable and dedicated throughout this recovery period. Again, many many thanks!
