Such a terrible experience - especially with one particular member of staff - always talks over you and doesn't seem to take any notice of what your saying - no feel of care towards the children either - the young lady at reception is lovely though! But the service is poor! .. the waiting times are ridiculous 1-2 years for an appointment! In that time a child had zero support!! - records lost and no way of having any contact or updates from the paediatrician - even with new evidence etc .. poor place! Sad really! ..
Awful place with useless, uncaring staff. Spoke to new consultant a few weeks ago and he was disgusted and what I had told him previous consultants had done with regards to my kids care. Said staff turnover was ridiculously high and I'm not surprised because this place is terrible and provides virtually no help and bad communication. No person centred care and staff don't even bother to seem empathetic or Considerate. Negligent and fail in their duty.
We have always had a great experience at the Phoenix Centre. The staff are helpful and compassionate and I have always felt our children have been very well cared for.
Tel numbers on reports letters are all wrong. Impossible to get an appointment when you have concerns. Referral not done after 12 months. Covid still used as an excuse for everything and for the backlog. After all the bad reviews it is probably time to do something, dont you think ? Our kids deserve the minimum and we are far away from the minimum of professionalism.
My child was referred here after 12 years at St Thomas audiology department. He should be having annual check ups.....i have had to chase up every single year as I have never been sent an appointment. The lack of funding here compared to St Thomas is jaw dropping. Bromley Healthcare should be ashamed of the lack of funding and administration here. Poor
