The surroundings are a little dated but clean. The staff cannot do enough for you. The service was a little delayed due to us not booking and coinciding with the break up from work for Christmas. The food is very edible and varied, with the cost being reasonable. We enjoy the experience every time that we go there .

Always love coming here. The food is too notch and the staff are really friendly. I think that's why I continue to return time after time.

Pretty good place for pub food. Nice decor, friendly staff, pretty surroundings in a pleasant part of the village. Lots of parking. Careful entering and leaving the car park though. The pheasant is opposite a fiddly little junction and on a blind bend.

Nice food. Need to be specific about what you want. Sometimes cake that has been warmed has the icing melted as it was in microwave too long. We have a son with autism and always have the same table and they have always been great at explaining things to him especially as the fire alarm went off in the middle of Christmas dinner when the steam from the dishwasher set it off. The lady showed him she was turning off the alarm and explained it to him. We have always had a good experience taking our son there.

Comfortable place to meet friends it's busy so always best to book a table. food is normal pub grub but an excellent offer if you spend £30 you get £10 off not sure how long this is on for.
