This is the best pet shop the staff r very friendly & will tell u anything u need to know. I have been getting my fish from here for yrs now. When I started up another tank I went bk for some advice which I know they will help. Thanks for all the help u have gave me
I only ever shop here for my pets needs. They are always pleasant, helpful and very informed. I feel like a valuable customer. Competitive prices I wouldn't shop anywhere else. Happy to recommend this shop.
Love this little gem of a pet shop. Very friendly owners who always go the extra mile. Not a huge shop like nearby competitors so not as big a choice of some items but if you ask, they will scource for you at a fraction of the price. Great shop.
Dont buy from here, They are friendly and helpful, but don't look after animals corectly. For examples, keeping rats in cages with woodshavings, which is bad for their eyes and respiratory systems, as well as picking up rodents by their tail. They also don't seem to know anything about fish and their compatibility.
Please please please put at least a wheel and wood to chew with your rodents - poor things have a rubbish life anyway let alone living in a glass tank with nothing to wear their teeth down or be active!..... Apart from that it's a nice family run pet shop.
This pet shop is one of very few small old school pet shops around the area. There are no flashy neon signs, there are no overpowering bright colours or signs, just good, old fashioned pets in a shop, with a wide variety of foods, cages, fishtanks and small animals etc, and the people that run the place are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, prices perfectly normal/cheaper than the internet in most cases.
Nice selection of fish, but the Neon Tetras were being kept in a cold tank and weren't looking their full brightness. Speaking to the shop assistant I was advised that I could keep them in my unheated tank, and nothing was said that I would have to adjust the pH levels given the water supply in this area. Further research at other pet shops and on the internet reveals that these should be kept in a heated tank at a minimum of 20°c with a natural to slightly acidic pH level. Given this I wouldn't shop here agian.
Love my Pet shop..we are so lucky to have such wonderful owners who are always so cheerful and nowledgable whenever I go in .Big shout out to Local Bussiness :-
This is a great little shop, with plenty of treats for your pets, but it's a shame as the present owners are retiring but wish them well for the future and hope someone will take over the shop and keep it as pet shop..
