I’ve been shopping at Pets at Home for a while now for my whippets, and overall, it’s been a solid experience. They’ve got a good range of food and toys, and I can usually find what I’m looking for. The staff are friendly and helpful if I ever need advice. My only gripe is that some of the products can be a bit on the expensive side, especially compared to online options. But if you need something quickly, it’s a reliable place to go.
Always a pleasant visit to this branch. From our fish to our Puppy, all the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.nThey offer brilliant advice and the store has plenty of options to choose from.
Disappointed after been given false information. We went a long to a pet meet and greet with my 2 yr old and that was great, she had a lovely time petting and feeding the animals. But the little rabbit we were told was going up for adoption the next day. We showed loads of interest in adopting him and was told he was ours if we could collect him that evening or next day. so i went and got a cage, its accessories and rang up to see if we could go see the rabbit and pay the adoption fee. To then be told we couldnt have the rabbit because we didn't alread have 1 or wasnt buying him as a pair. Heartbroken little girl and a waste of money. Staff obviously dont know their stuff or dont communicate enough to know what their rules are.
Every time I have visited I get what I am looking for and get good advice off the staff. Thumbs up frome
My 7 year old wanted to get a hamster for her 8th birthday coming up. Girl with purple hair at counter was completely disinterested - just standing there playing with her hair. She tried to ignore me when I approached. I asked if my daughter could hold a hamster.She said ‘sorry, no, we can only get them out when absolutely necessary’. I said ‘we’re thinking about getting one.’ Again she said ‘sorry, no!’ No follow up, just back to staring into space & playing with her hair.
