Second visit in a couple of days. PAH have introduced a new computer system for their VIP customers but at checkout the bar code is not recognised and you have to input your surname and post code which I don't understand as PAH already have this info on their system. No advice to customers that they may have problems with the new computer system.
Good ranges, stuff is often cheaper across the car park at B&M though, but you get what you pay for. They don't sell otters.
Told 1 price on phone, get in there told a different price. Won't honour the price told on phone. Make it up as they go along always need more treatment apparently. Like a dodgy mechanics.
Very rude bearded bloke behind counter talks to his staff like dirt when you click and collect. When you check stock for Ageing Royal canin in jelly, it shows they have it in stock, but not even a place for it on shelf. So you join queue to enquire, and even when check out assistant advises I am next some bloke argues and pushes in. Add this to my £5 off loyalty voucher that didn’t go through and despite email promise to reimburse still didn’t materialise. Plus if you want to order anything on line, it’s a min £45 spend for a two day wait, I think had no stars been an option, then in my experiences that’s what I would prefer to award them.
Near to home, lovely store helpful staff and good selection of Tropical Fish for us to choose from.
Today was my second visit this week! I am a new mum to my cocker spaniel puppy Charlie,i wanted for some advice on flea treatment and worming. I got everything I needed. All the staff are fantastic, I live in Huddersfield but I just had to go back in to the brighouse store. I was so happy when I left the store, the warm welcome,helpful advice and free puppy food! A big Thank you to Vicky and Charlene, see you again soon. 5 star service

Management at this place are stealing a wage. Constant supply issues. Having run a large retail establishment myself I can assure you it is not a difficult job. On this occasion we have singular packs of chappie being sold as multipacks sellotaped together without original multipack packaging when no singular packs are available. Firstly why are singular packs consistently unavailable? it’s basic management to maintain a supply of stock. It is afterall the very reason why the lights are on, doors open and staff being paid. So that you can sell things to customers. If the stock isn’t there people can’t buy can they? This has been a consistent issue for many many months. And please don’t come at me with covid if you can bring in enough multipacks to flood the shelves you can also bring in singular packs. It’s poor stock management nothing less. Added to that. Sellotaping multipacks back together multipacks of singular packs which are labelled as singular packs is very confusing and frustrating to the customer. Obviously problems do arise and minor repairs made. However! If the original packaging cannot be used then the only option would be to sell them as singular items. It looks dodgy! It looks like your company is taking singular packs, taping them together so as to force customers to buy more than what they want. Is this really the image you wish to promote? Everything on your shelves should ideally be in perfect condition and shelves must not be allowed to run bare. It’s a really bad look and as said previously a confusing inconvenience to customers. As it now stands I have a poorly dog dietary issues who cannot have her usual food because of your stores poor management. This is going to have a negative effect upon her digestive system. I have been inconvenienced by your store and it’s staff and I shall not be a returning customer as I refuse to pay my money towards a store that allows such poor standards and practices to occur. As said previously I have almost 10yrs experience in running stores myself. Stores much larger than this one. And with that experience I would suggest that ALL staff are given further training to spot these most basic of errors and ensure that they do not occur in future. However, If management cannot manage such basic issues as stock supplies then you have to question whether or not they are actually fit for the role at all.
