Very busy, there was a mix up with the booking which turned out to be our fault but they accommodated us anyway. The food was delicious, great service and reasonably priced wine. We felt welcome and had a great lunch.Food: 5/5
The best meal we've had in a long time and one of the best ever. It's a small cosy bistro with lovely, friendly staff. It's not cheap, but well worth it, especially compared to some places we've eaten in Cheltenham. As for the food, we'll it was just perfect, so definitely will be back!
Pleasently surprised. Amazing place to eat, food is exquisite, staff was friendly and helpful, stablishment is lovely in appearance, cozy and unique. 10/10 would recommend and visit again!
If you like France & if you love French food then you need to visit Petit Coco Bistro in Cheltenham. I even overheard one diner say "it's just like being on holiday in France for an hour or two" and do you know what, she was right. The atmosphere, the restaurant, the service and most importantly the food was excellent. We visited on a quiet Monday evening, with several other diners, it was so relaxing. The restaurant was warm and welcoming, and the staff were very pleasant & polite. We opted for the house red; after all when in France always drink the wine chosen by the locals, so if the restaurant chose it for their house wine it wasn't going to be bad and it wasn't. A full bodied fruity red. For our entrees I had the ham hock terrine whilst my wife had the stunningly tasty comte soufflé; a better entree she's never had she told the waiter. A creamy and very cheesy dish. And then for our mains I had the duck whilst my wife chose the calves liver with bacon. Both great choices, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Then for our desert we finished our evening with a creme brulee to share. A lovely evening at Petit Coco Bistro. A lovely French Bistro that we will certainly visit again, soon. Very happy to recommend a visit, I don't think you'd be disappointed .
In town visiting. Recommended by our friends who live in Cheltenham. We had the Lunch Special. Delicious. Good service. Great authentic decor. Intimate Basement location. Highly recommended
Quirky, fun atmosphere - they really pack in the people but full of charm. The food transported us back to days spent in France. All the classics, done fantastically well. My fav? Favs of the night: snails, duck, and The Apple sourbet and calvados. You will not be disappointed.
Had a lovely lunch at this Bistro. It was like stepping into a bistro in Paris. Lovely food, great service & authentic atmosphere. There could be better signage outside, as you could easily miss the bistro.Food: 5/5
Such a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere and authentic simple French food. Really enjoyable experience. Highly recommend the pork belly, escargot and duck Margot. All sensational.
To eat a French meal of this quality with the atmosphere and decor in England was amazing. This place was as top 10 and worth every pound.
Lovely intimate and friendly little Bistro. Friendly staff without being in your face. Food delicious and properly French reminded me of Paris. Portion size perfect. Will be returning. We had the lunch special and it was just what we needed. Good for a meal with friends or a more special occasion. Kid-friendliness: Nice group next to us with baby all very happy
