Always a pleasure to visit the vets. Staff are friendly and approachable. The waiting room is large enough to be comfortable even at busy times. The appointment times can sometimes slip, but the staff are apologetic when it does happen. As about your dog / cat becoming a blood donor. They might save a life.

Absolutely useless... Tried to get flea treatment for a cat that had been seen within 12 months and now the rule is if it's nearly 12 months you have to be seen again. Which would be fine if I wasn't told the complete opposite and wasted my time driving there to collect the treatment only to be told the cat needed to come in anyway. Get your story straight you bunch of idiots.

Great vets use them for our ponies all very caring and helpful always have time for questions.Can't rate them highly enough wouldn't use any other.

Just lost our 14 year old Jack Russell Chumbo. Obviously we are devastated. Throughout this terrible time everyone at Penmellyn was incredibly supportive, understanding and caring. They always kept us informed of what was happening to her and explained why particular treatments were being tried. Chronic kidney disease is potentially a really tough way to go, but thanks to the expertise of David Jackson and those around him we were able to make a considered decision about when enough was enough. Chumbo was very well cared for and we too were looked after really well. On the last day we had access to Chumbo in a room for as long as we wanted. We could take her outside from time to time. Eventually when we had to say good bye it could not have been better. Everything was explained to us and we made the decisions about how it would be. Throughout her life she has always been wonderfully looked after and welcomed by this Practice. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very friendly staff. Happy to speak either on phone or in person when they have a pet in over night. Good 24 hour emergency cover.
