Useful travel alternative to the local bus service.nnSingle platform, single track station on the Par to Newquay branch line.nnThe station can be reached in two ways from St Columb village.nnBy foot from the village centre, it is sign posted along an alley, which then runs parallel to the tracks and crosses the tracks on a wooden walkway to the platform.nnFrom the other side of the village a road leads to the car park and a gate on to the platform.nnThe free car park has 14 spaces including one for the disabled. There's a pick up/drop off point and two bicycle racks.nnOn the platform is a covered seating area, but no glass in the windows. There's a help point and an information board.nnTickets are bought from the guard on the train.nnThe train service runs in both directions, to either Newquay or Par. It is reliable mine was 4mins late, but infrequent.nnIt's important to note, if returning to St Columb Road by train you must speak to the guard to get the train to stop.
Basic.... One train every two hours.nFree car park
