As a senior citizen I’ve attended quite a few surgeries, both in Bristol and elsewhere, and this is by far the best. The helpful reception team creates a welcoming atmosphere (no mean achievement considering not every patient is patient!) and the nurses and HCAs are both caring and efficient. With long term ailments the doctor you see will book your next appointment to ensure continuity of practice. Using the 24 hour automated telephone booking service may mean you don’t always see the doctor you want. But I’ve never found it a problem since all the doctors really do listen and discuss your treatment with you. This will not always be in the form of a prescription but could be practical advice or, reassuringly, a rapid referral to a specialist. Throughout there’s a balanced blend of care, compassion and professionalism. Such a state of affairs doesn’t just happen – so all credit to the management for fostering it.

As in another review the receptionist was dismissive and unfriendly. She showed no empathy. I am seriously considering to change GP surgery. I am abroad and pregnant and needed to book an appointment to ask for advice about what to do since I have a cold and she refuses to book an appointment for me, even if she heard that I Am am pregnant and that could bearly speak due to my cold. She said I should seek for advice abroad. I think it is not for a receptionist to give me medical advice. Very surprised and dissapointed with her unkind attitude.

Very grateful to have such a good GP practice. When I tell people how easy it is to book an appointment when it's convenient, not just "on the day" , like some places or how one can arrange a telephone appointment, they are always surprised & jealous.

Wrong information on website does not mention closed for the 26th but when you call it goes straight to voice msg and informs that they open back on the 27th, when you call them not at all helpful. Very much Agee with previous comments about the service and helpfulness.
