AVOID, under new ownership and it’s dreadful. Wouldn’t waste your time. Very sad to see the old owners go! 6 adult meals ordered and all greasy and horrible. Hard chips, and poor sauces such a shame. One meal totally wrong, not even near what was ordered. People on phone didn’t even now what they had on the menu. Used to be our place to go at least once a month often more and we won’t be back at all.

So sad Our local for many years, every Sat night, and many nights in between. Tried it first week after new ownership, it was awful. Maybe teething problems, tried again tonight, awful! Bring the old team back! Gravy sauce watery, this was always amazing and my girls’ favourite. Chilli prawns not crispy and the chicken fried rice absolutely tasteless! Please, please bring back the old team, I really also feel for the delivery drivers, I count them as old friends, sorry can’t support this takeaway until it changes drastically! so sad

Excellent takeaway. Been using Peking House for years but a lot less since I moved from Thornliebank. Much better than my now local Chinese takeaways. Worth the travel.

Worst meal ever cold rice hard chips water at the bottom of the satay container tasteless curry sauce used this chinise takeaway for years never again

Under new management/ new owners. Did not enjoy my dinner tonight. My usual is way too spicy now. Kid’s chicken chow mein completely different too. If you’re going to take over an existing place, then why change everything? Going to talk to owners and see if they can tone mine down abit. Leaving 5* until then… My favourite local Chinese. Tasty, and not greasy. They will adapt/change food if you ask add things/leave things out or do things off the menu... Always friendly and good service too.

Usually the food is good. Been going to this Chinese since I was a kid. Ordered a special chow mein tonight and honestly it was such a disappointment thick gravy covering dry noodles and rotten meat. Wont be ordering again wish I could rate no stars. Not sure if new owners since we have ordered last time. Wouldn't recommend or be ordering again

Without doubt, the worst take-away I have experienced in Glasgow, quite possibly the world. Ordered Salt and Chilli chicken with curry sauce. The curry sauce tasted like perfumed puddle water. The chicken was unbelievably bland and the portion size, completely deplorable. Their customer service also reflected the poor quality of their food. They sent the wrong order initially. There was no effort on their part to remedy this and I had to ask them to replace the order. They also wanted to replace the chicken only, failing to take into consideration the other food I had purchased.They also insisted I send the wrong order back. Heavens knows what they did with that. Probably microwaved and sold on to an unsuspecting customer. Safe to say that I will not be using this place or recommending it to friends.

Absolutely shocking service. We made an order and confirmed it. We then get the order and have the wrong thing. I call back to explain and get told before I can properly explain the error 'no you got it wrong' and repeatedly told that. Then she hung up on me. We order almost every week and thats the service we receive. This has happened twice before that we have 'supposedly' said the wrong order. TWICE.

I ordered a delivery of a special chow mein it was 3 quarters noodle a small amount of meats a whole 2 prawns & I paid the princely sum of £18.50 the noodles were greasy & salty.never again will I use that place I'll stick with tastes good in arden,definitely not to be recommended
