We went here for lunch and we both had the large cod fish n chips. The fish was perfectly cooked without an excessive amount of batter and the fries were also well done. We would highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal at very reasonable prices!
Our second visit and quality, freshness of fish and chips was same as the first time. We had a fish and chips in few other places around Eastbourne but this place beats them all. Service was superb, where on first visit very polite young gentleman and on second visit young lady were serving us with smile. We felt very welcomed. Every now and then after long Birling Gap stroll we will definitely visit Pedro’s. Please stay as you are as many recommendations are coming your way.
Best fish & chips in town. Nice place, friendly staff, good portions, very tasty. Highly recommended!!!
First time there. Staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. The fish and chips were perfect. The fish freshly cooked and the chips, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. From placing the order to getting it was no longer than 10 minutes. Eat fis and chips regularly and will definitely go back again.
I go there sometimes, just because it is very close to home. But I never liked their batter and the fish texture. I do have elsewhere in the high street, where I go most of the time. The fish has to have a crisp batter.Recommended dishesCod, Fish and Chips Medium

I come every week to pick up fish and chips for my elderly neighbour. She says they are the best! One day, I hope, they will do gluten free so I can have some too as they always smell amazing. Very friendly and family run.
In my opinion the best fish and chips in town since I have been doing take-out. The cod more fish and less batter and they always give a generous portion of chips. The staff are very friendly too.
