Last week I visited your Didsbury pharmacy for Tyrozets. My daughter had a painful sore throat. The lady at the counter immediately suggested antibiotics and a visit to the doctor. The pharmacist looked at our interaction but made no comment. The throats cleared up in a couple of days with rest and paracetamol.  My daughter at 17 has never had antibiotics and we would like to keep it that way. Also in the current climate of growing resistance to antibiotics this advice seems reckless to say the least. Rest, fluids and painkillers should always be the first treatment.

The staff is fantastic and I have never had any problems dealing at that pharmacy.

Being the nearest pharmacy to my GP's surgery is the only immediate virtue of this establishment. Stuff on the shelves is pricy and obscure and some of the staff are quite lacking in warmth or welcome. You don't have to wait long for prescriptions which is a blessing based on the passive aggressive vibe.
