Lovely desserts and coffee but in order to get it had to ask for it like 3 times .. many people sitting lost their patience and left in the absence of being able to order. The floor was not clean, a clear lack of training to the staff, a lack of somebody responsible in charge of the waiters. And when you have a pin for the bathroom which is located to a different floor make sure you inform accordingly.
Great location in the center of Kifissia. Delicious food and big variety. Check it out
Had lunch with a friend at Paul's,each enjoying a delicious quinoa power bowl. A great variety of dishes very fresh and delicious!
Great atmosphere, good coffee although definitely not some of the best I've tried and pastries are good too, if a bit overpriced. However, its disappointing customer service along with the immense delays in being served, systematically ruin what benefits this cafe has. In my latest visit, with the exception of one waitress who was very much on top of her game, the rest of the team were either slow or rude. This is quite shocking considering the amount of interaction that is required by such a busy spot. There were waiters that were completely zoned out and were looking at you as if they didn't quite know what was happening. The rest were simply rude and treating customers as if, by talking to them, they were doing them a favour. As for the deays in being served, I waited for over 30 mins for a crepe can't imagine how long I would have waited had I asked for something more complicated that got served to me cold, and which I promptly returned to the kitchen. Paul's leaves a lot to be desired.
Late lunch Christmas Eve.. Easier to find a table than other places that required a reservation. However we dis not get our drinks till 30 minutes after. But the time our two salads came we had lost all enthusiasm..
Nice but hugely overhyped place with great brunch type food plus choices for breakfast. Quality of the food is very good. There is outside space with tables and an inside space. Sadly although the restaurant is located at the heart of Kifisias center, one of Athens supposedly best and most premium suburbs, there can be many beggars going around the tables asking for money which is quite annoying and troubling! There's zero effort and interest from the stuff to fend them off. Under the circumstances there should be a permanent security guard at the outside area of the restaurant. Service can be completely disorganized and painfully slow at times even without the place being anywhere near full with waiters not knowing how to prioritize orders, customers, who to serve first etc. You can wait quite a bit to order or pay the bill. Toilets are upstairs inside and you have to climb some steep stairs to get there which can be a problem for elderly customers and pregnant women and they're certainly out of reach for handicapped people! Also at times there's no soap to be found, even fairly early in the day which makes me believe noone refilled them since the previous night and noone checks the toilets regularly to see if there's any need for cleaning or toilet paper etc and even worse nobody checked them in the morning before the restaurant opened! To access the toilets you need a code for the door so no random passerby can use the restrooms but this code ain't written anywhere for example on the invoice and you have to ask the stuff which usually means you first go upstairs, you find out the freaking door cannot open without a code and you come down again to ask the stuff for the code and then you go back up!! Unacceptable hardship for the customers which the restaurant has not taken into consideration. Although for some quality brunch PAUL is a good choice, there are some unacceptable issues that the management needs to address asap! You can find places in Kifisia with much better brunch, toilets accessible to handicapped people and certainly much better service!
Excellent coffee shop, French patisserie in Kifissia's . High quality pastries, bread and biscuits. Very good service and polite staff. Worthy of a visit.
While food is tasty, there is no baby changing station, which nowadays is unacceptable for such an expensive hangout, frequented by moms with baby buggies. If you cannot provide adequate service, just close it.
Untrained and rude staff with a lack of management, Paul has to be the French boulangerie representative in Greece in term of taste and service, unfortunately, it’s not the case at this branch.
Mediocre service due to organization not the waiters themselves, good dessert, good but not extraordinary coffee. If you're able to find a seat, that is.
