We held our wedding reception here on Tuesday 31st May . Cheryl and the team put on a fantastic spread . Everyone commented on how lovely the food was . Cheryl decorated the conservatory area for us , even getting new helium balloons for us when ours failed !! We had a fantastic day and couldn’t have wished for a more perfect location to celebrate . Thanks guys.
What a lovely surprise! I was out of area today, and walked into a pub I haven't been in for near 30 years. It was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, easy on the eye, very comfortable seating areas, booths etc. Open fire, very clean, excellent service. Very very welcoming, can't wait to return!
Gorgeous food. Fresh veggies. Tasty. Great chips. Delicious chocolate brownie etc etc! Very lovely staff. Recommend for family dinner. Seniors menu during the week looks great!
We held our daughters joint birthday party here and we weren't disappointed! We used the conservatory area and took our own decorations and balloons which Sheril and her team kindly set up for us, it really did look amazing and the food was absolutely delicious! Lovely pub with lovely thoughtful staff who went above and beyond to make sure it all went smoothly.
I visited the Paul Pry to watch Six Nations rugby and ordered a Sunday lunch for my friend and I. I’m particular about my food and the roast beef lunch did not let me down. The meat was tender and pink. The vegetables cooked as I like them and the roast potatoes I would happily eat by them selves. Excellent gravy and all finished off with wonderful Chocolate Brownie and ice cream. Very satisfying and good value. Also the GK IPA made a poor second half by England more palatable. Excellent cellar work. A fine pint. Thank you.
What a perfect afternoon spent for my niece’s Birthday. Lovely atmosphere. The food was lovely. Staff - both Hannah & Billy friendly & helpful. Thank you all.
Almost everything we ordered off menu was out of stock, no salad, no vegan dessert or alternative, no chocolate sauce etc. What I did have was very nice though and served hot so would have had five stars if their stock levels higher. Half pint coke £3.50, not refillable either so bit pricey on drinks here.
Great food thanks so much for hosting uncle Jim's 80th on Saturday the food was outstanding. The goats cheese melts and beef and horseradish sandwiches were lovely.
Had the pleasure of attending the VIP new menu taster tonight at the Paul Pry.Great new dishes including some fantastic vegan options . Highly recommend people come and try them out.
This is a really lovely pub. Refurbished a number of years ago with a cracking garden setup just after lockdown to allow people to enjoy a pub atmosphere outside, with heaters outside. Food is great and the staff are nice and friendly.
