Nice afternoon tea but. But far to crowded. Packed in like sardines. Your actually sitting ontop on people. Air con very cold. We moved twice.

Sadly my first experience was not the best. Very slow service due to lack of staff, was ignored when we arrived and had to ask whether we just sat down. Sat at dirty table which I tidied up used plates myself for waitress. Then a long wait for service, drinks brought then another wait for food. Although food nice, sandwiches very small and I wouldn't say the experience was worth the money. Will not be visiting again

Very disappointed today. Telephoned to try and reserve a table for 6, got told we don’t reserve tables. Okay not a problem. Turned up at shop at 4pm place was a mess, 3 empty tables not cleared, hardly any cakes left 3 large tables reserved! Asked about the 3 tables got rudely informed they are for Head Office 😡 Went elsewhere sadly 😢

Tried to use a groupon voucher at 3pm on Good Friday but were turned away with minimum apologies as were too busy, there were spare tables but we were told there was no way we could be served and nothing they could do. Our voucher had only 1 day left before expiry and we were very disappointed to say the least. Staff seemed very stressed.

A group of 11 of us met at Patisserie Valerie for coffee prior to a museum visit. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, providing great coffee and great service, including moving furniture around to accommodate the group. All done with smiles and without fuss.
