Awful experience, afternoon tea for 2 resulted in an hour wait from ordering to receive a stale poorly cut set of sandwiches. The cake looked like something scraped off the tow path a duck let go of earlier in the day and the fly’s that swarmed the cakes prior to eating inside the cafe was enough to make a frog feel ill. Staff were rude and miserable, no one really enjoys working that much but dont let us customers suffer your painful daily death. Over priced, waste of time. If I were you I would go to the Reading road and get a sandwich and snickers from ESSO. Come on Valerie pull it together, this is Henley!

Service was ok on the day. Toast was burnt. Poached eggs were more like boiled hard eggs. Cakes were nice but by 2pm the options got very limited. Over priced for the quality!

Every birthday, my cake has been bought from here and they always taste delicious.

Flat white was very bitter, croissant took more than 20 minutes to arrive (place wasn't that full, other full meals came out before ours), waiter's demeanour said "I don't want to be here", side salad had brown, wilted lettuce leaves, very dirty cutlery and no atmosphere. They didn't play music so the silence was almost awkward. Particularly disappointing after loving the High Wycombe branch, which is worlds apart from this one, unfortunately.
