A very run down Costa in a very historical and famous town. It's a shame that the toilets smelled bad, toilet seat was broken and was placed on the floor by the toilet and the tap on the hand basin was so loose that I have to hold it tight with one hand and still difficult to turn it on. The ambience was dull and the lights in the front were switched off. The place was only 10% full, no one on the queue but waited two minutes before male barrista emerged and served. Pity my flat white was like warm! Very disappointing indeed.

I have visited many Costas throughout the UK and enjoy the coffee - consistently is a problem anyway, but This one has the special status to me that Its the only one I refuse to visit ever again. I gave them the benefit of the doubt on several occasions but no more. Poor.

Visited twice in one week for work. Take away orders wrong both times. Not funny or happy. Wasted coffee.

Staff need to realise people come to Costa coffee for a nice relaxing atmosphere. I felt like I was interupting the staff when ordering a coffee! Staff could do with smiling a little more and attempt to make people feel more welcome. Last time I go to this branch. I'll go to Starbucks in the future!

Worst costa ever been to filthy dirty equipment and floors . Rude managers and slow staff never known a costa like it. Staff have nail varnish and fake nails which is not allowed. They also had dirsty hair and dirty uniforms. Yuk yuk service is awful to COSTA DIRECTORS GET OFF YOUR ARSES AND FIX THIS SHOP. SACK THE MANAGER AND ALL THE STAFF AND START AGAIN. YOU COULD MAKE A LOT OF MONEY IF THIS SHOP WAS GOOD, ACTUALLY READ YOUR REVIEWS AND UNDERSTAND THIS COSTA IS AWFUL
