I've stayed here quite a few times and have always had great experiences. Must admit I did struggle a little last time as I had a small issue with the lack of a lamp in my room which I need at night in case my little one woke. However when I mentioned this to staff they were ever so accommodating and went out of their way to find me a lamp. The breakfast was amazing and I could have spent most of the day relaxing in the lounge! They've had a bit of a make over recently and it's a great improvement. Lots of different rooms to choose from and great to have a traditional English pub just next door with all the usual pub food. Smashing location, especially for sunsets overlooking the river!

Stayed there as part of a wedding party at a nearby venue. Very nice enjoyed my stay. Breafast very high standard

Severely Disappointed! I have been staying at the Best western for the last four months only discovered the Passage House Inn this morning. The food was okay at the hotel, but I went in for Pie and Pint Tuesday and I have been utterly blown away! The steak and onion pie was to die for (plus the free pint)! As I type I an struggling to select a dessert! The decor is in keeping with the area and the service was excellent! My contract in the area is coming to and end! I am left with no choice to ride 320 miles to sample the rest of the menu.

We went to the passage in for a large group meals we were visiting family n the area, they recommend it to us. The service was friendly, quick ad easy to order ad they gave you what a personal touch ad pride n the job role Tey do. The food was amazing again quick but not so quick it was bagged reheated food,and our waiter even remember would ordered what.car parking is large enough that nobody has to squeeze in, beside the car park is the most beautiful river.
