Paschoe House is a wonderful place to stay and relax. A lovely building with a great team running the hotel. We stayed for two nights in a very comfortable sensational room. The facilities were first class and the bed very very comfortable. The food is excellent and in my view deserving of more rosettes it is as good as anything else in Devon.
A perfect birthday treat. We enjoyed every morsel of the Tasting Menu, starting with the most delicious champagne, right down to the petit fours in the bar at the end which I must confess we couldn’t finish. Would absolutely recommend for a wonderful experience. A fabulous team, with professional yet friendly service.
The whole experience was exceptional! We stayed in a 'sensational ' room and everything about the place matched that description. The staff, the surroundings. As for the food, well that was sensational plus!! I cannot recommend this place enough. Discreet, thoughtful, friendly.
Great country house ambiance, friendly staff, good food and wine. Especially thanks to the housekeeper for setting up our doggy things. My only criticism is the reception phone often goes unanswered when I was calling the week before we stayed about our booking, which creates a bad first impression.
Amazing, truly wonderful and sensational experience. Our daughter and son-in-law had their wedding reception here on Saturday 19th March 2022. What an amazing place. The welcome, the food, the rooms, the setting, totally blown away with everything. You should all be so proud of yourselves and everything you have achieved. Thank you for an amazing stay, and for supporting Hannah and Lee Loveridge over the past few years Well done Pascoe House
Great location, food was excellent and staff couldn't have been better only word of caution would be to perhaps consider who you were taking there, very traditionally English with mounted hunting trophies on the walls and pictures showing fox hunting, I think it adds to the authenticity but might not be too everyone's taste. Was a brilliant venue for us though.
I got married at Paschoe in August this year and its such a beautiful and special place, the house is incredible, inside and out. Its a beautiful old building, with a modern but still really cosy and elegant interior and has lots of options for your ceremony. I love that they grow their own veg, source produce locally and tabitha, the owner has been great with the wedding side of things. The only reason I haven't given Paschoe a 5 is just because there was alot of unorganised situations surrounding my day, but most of the staff were very new so I'm sure things will be running alot smoother now, it's just my experience a few things were missed. And the cleaners didn't do a great job of the Glasshouse the morning of the wedding which was a real shame. But I did give alot of feedback to tabitha and she took it all on, dealt with it accordingly, updated me and didn't get offended which I love. I really hope this place gets a really amazing events co ordinator soon because it deserves it. Also the food is exceptional, although I did miss Craig's chips now the chefs changed! But still great. Also, the staff are lovely, very kind and helpful so made the weekend very pleasant and I can't wait to visit for my birthday in December.
A completely perfect 2 day stay. The finest dining, luxurious surroundings, And wonderful staff. We were relaxed and felt pampered throughout!
This is a superb Country house hotel in the middle of Mid Devon. The house has more than just the 'Wow' Factor. The grade II house has been lovingly restored by the fabulous owner Tabitha with no expense spared it feels more like a grade 2* with its history. The attention to detail here is second to none. As you approach down the long driveway within rolling Devon hills, the first impression of the house is striking. Every room within the hotel has beautiful interior design features. The staff are all so welcoming, Helen, Matt, Matthew and Kerry - as is the owner Tabitha. The dining experience is first class and felt above the three AA rosettes they currently have. The head chef James Checkely is outstanding. Beautiful canape's followed by a delicious four course dinner. Matt's knowledge of wine and cocktails was detailed and he recommended some very unique wines. The grounds are beautiful. Just WOW!
We had a fantastic last-minute getaway at Paschoe House over Christmas. The staff were fantastic, the food was truly excellent and everything had been thought of. Wonderfully dog friendly as well we can’t wait to go back. Very highly recommended
