STAY CLEAR AT ALL COST’S equity are the worst landlords I have ever had I’ve been with them 3 years and had several repairs and they never fixed anything just made it worse my family member fell through a floor board and equity accused me of putting it there that was the day I moved it and it all went worse from there I had damp and mould ruined all my stuff there was rats in the communal area nothing ever got sorted. They even had the cheek to ask me to keep my carpets down for a new tenant that was moving in nothing but badness shameful. Rude staff. Horrid landlords all they are bothered about is money and not doing any repairs
I've never had any problems with them always polite and helpful for over 10 years
I have now been an Equity Tenant for almost 10yrs, I have had no issues, when I've called, they've always been very pleasant, Whenever I've needed a repair it's always been completed within a reason time, I am very happy with Equity as a landlord knowing that there are a lot worse out there,
Used to sing about how good Equity were. I have now been living in a damp house for a month now, and still no nearer to finding out why my living room floor is soaking wet . I suffer severely with anxiety and depression and all this is having an effect on my mental health. No one will take notice of this post or get in touch. Shame on you Equity !!
Ive been in the property nealy 3 mouth. And there was a repair that i reported at the start of my tenancy. This repair is still not done. And when thay say thay are coming to fix the repair thay don't turn up. One time i waited in for the repair person and i missed a day at college and no one came. Also when on the phone some of the staff are very rud. All thay want is the money. The only person that dose something is the warden.
Quick to take your money slow at effecting repairs that your money pays for anyway. TAKE MY ADVICE DO NOT BUY INTO A LEASEHOLD SHARED OWNERSHIP PROPERTY BECAUSE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY BUYS YOU NOTHING EXCEPT THE RIGHT TO LIVE IN IT. WIN WIN FOR THE LAND OWNING HOUSING ASSOCIATION AND LOSE LOSE FOR THE UNSUSPECTING BUYER. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Disgusting customer services. After asking to speak to the manager, I was cut off. Then spent 1 hour with 3 different phones ringing you with no answer. Disgusting behaviour. I will be reporting this company to the Derbyshire county council and high peak borough council.
Absolute disgrace of a Housing association. You have to wait months upon months for any repairs to your home, equity housing only do anything if you file a complaint. Housing officer shabbir is a tyrant and if you fall behind a week of your rent will send you a letter to seek possesion of the property your renting. Even though you pay and provide proof you are doing so As other's have said. "Avoid at all costs"!!! Have never known such a poor excuse & badly run housing group. Am glad i am moving from these & seeking a better place to live as repairs are still not done Bathroom ceiling coming down due to black mould / Frontroom fireplace thermostat packed in / Extractor fans to reduce black mould still not done Can provide foto's if anyone need's help to make there own minds up.
Very poor service , damp everywhere no one seems to want to know. We have lived here for 26 years part rent and part buy. We had to replace the doors and windows at our own expense because they rotted away. High bill for electricity and gardens too. Very disgruntled
Been meaning to do this feedback . Renting with Equity Housing Group . Wouldn't recommend them at all . I wouldn't give them half a star . Reporting issues with the property and not interested . They just want your money . Look elsewhere for renting .
