I placed an order for a Large Breakfast and a Bacon Toastie at 11am for collection. I was advised it would be ready to pick up at 11.20am. Great, so far so good. This was then pushed back to half an hour later - 11.50am. 50 minutes to cook 2 breakfast meals seemed rather excessive to me. If I knew it was going to be this long when initially ordering I probably would have gone elsewhere, but by this point I had already paid and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I turned up at the cafe at 11.50am to collect my order. They hadn't even started to cook it yet! It was only at this point they began. I was then waiting another 10-15 minutes in the cafe waiting for my order. Really unprofessional service. I then returned home somewhat annoyed, but looking forward to our breakfasts. Unfortunately, it was not worth the wait. The toast was severely burnt and lukewarm, and the Large Breakfast was quite average and sweaty. The only redeeming factor is that the staff are really polite. I would not return, very poor service and poor quality of food.
No idea what the food is like, but I don't recommend you order online. After waiting an hour and a half, I phoned them, and they lied saying that the food had already gone out and should be here soon. 45 mins after that it arrived, I had to send it back, as by that time my husband had already had to leave for work. I understand mistakes happen, and if when I first called to check where it was they'd just told the truth I would have been able to make arrangements and their would have been no hard feelings. As it is I think they have no respect for their customers, and I wouldn't go near the place, despite working round the corner.
Ordered online. Ignored my request of no tomatoes and mushrooms on both breakfasts! I ordered two teas and a latte which were not delivered! Food wasn't even warm never mind hot and everything tasted absolutely vile! I recommend avoiding this cafe!!
Came in yesterday ordered some sausage on toast waited about 45 minutes the cup of tea had what I could only assume looked like seamen floating around on the top or some sort of discharge, food came on bread instead of toast and the staff looked like they had been sniffing shabongy all night
Ordered 3 breakfasts 1.40 mins waiting delivery when did arrive really poor quality the sausage was like a cocktail sausage and the fried bread was just bread must off seen the frying pan for about 8 seconds on one side Its shame caused ordered from here quite few times and it was always spot on one of the breakfast had egg shells in the egg helpfully they can improve
A friendly service and excellent food everytime, Dave, Sue, Joe and the guys really do go out of their way to make you feel welcome. For my money the best cafe for miles around. From Daz and Steph at Fantasy Flooring
