I’d like to give an update to everyone in the country,myself and my wife Barbara are the couple who was on ITV This morning last Thursday explaining our holiday/caravan from hell,after the show everything exploded on social media,twitter and facebook went crazy with thousands of people who have had the same experience as us !!! We contacted Parkdean again and said the we want a Full Refund,they came back on Friday and offered us a 75% refund !! We went straight back and said we will only accept a 100% refund,today is Monday and they have said they will not pay the full amount that they should be refunding us !! We have now decided to contact every single national newspaper and television stations in the UK as well as take them to a small claims court ,basically they have excepted that we had an awful experience but won’t go that final 25% refund to us !!! Parkdean hold your heads in shame,your company and staff are a disgrace !
Come to trecco bay ever year. Only to get here to the worst caravan ever !! The van should not be rented out no more as it has had hammering over the years. Smoke and carbon alarms laying on side by cooker no batteries in, gas cooker Hobbs all 6 turned on. Marks all over the walls, mud, grease foot marks, seating area just the same, My daughter then went to toilet only find no paper like it meant to be left. Caravan well past it sell by date. Last time for us at this site. Shame real as have had some good times here over the years. Will say Staff all friendly on site and helpfully but even they couldn’t understand what had gone on here. If you given brambles 61 ask to move start away. Do not expect head office to even get back to me after other reviews
This would have been our 3rd time at parkdene, we have so far enjoyed it. On the 2nd July I was poorly and passed out and ended up breaking a few bones at the top of my spine, not able to travel, I tried to cancell it and even though we paid insurance I was told that I would only get 80% of what we paid back, bearing in mind that's not just us but our daughter and grandchildren disappointed. We were told we had to give proof within 3 months of the date of cancel to provide documents from Dr or hospital for proof that I really was unable to go and I'm the only driver in the family so I have been trying to get through with my hospital info, only to find there's no record of our holiday, and it seems that we have been blocked to stop us claiming our money back. This is not good enough, we won't be booking again and also the rest of our family and friends won't be either.
Zero stars due to appalling customer services, do HO ever responsed. Even emailed their CEO, but he returned my email. Ignorant man. Absolutely terrible caravan. Falsely advertised. They said it was bigger but it was smaller & is nothing like what they advise on their website. Emailed HO regarding this false advertising, just got automated response back. Rang them spoke to lovely lady who advised I should get a call back from a manager on 31.5.25. Never got call. It's wrong to Falsely advise the caravan layout when it actually is nothing like it in reality even the manager at torquay agreed their HO advertising team had got it wrong. So where is my manager call back. Had to sleep separately from hubby because the double mattress was too small. But more concerned about the website layout & wording of the caravan LANSCOVE. Can't add photos sorry.
On holiday with Parkdean and having a good time so decided to call and book two more holidays - during the phone call their systems suffered an outage and the whole process became disjointed and confused. After finishing the call one bearing in mind I booked two of the confirmations arrived with the wrong date. Simply put I immediately tried to ring Parkdean and could get through. Three hours of chatbots and waiting in call queues and ultimately being cut off. Eventually get hold of someone who will ring me back. Not happened. Back to the chat bot and finally get someone. They'll change the date OK - but for £40. Bearing in mind I tried to correct the error immediately, I don't know who me or their agent got it wrong but I am expected to pay. These two will be the last holidays I book with Parkdean, I usually book 10+ breaks a year with them. They've had their last money from me. I'm at one of their parks at the moment. I'm off out in a moment to find other suitable places to stay. Money grabbing over customer relations. Not 'holiday happy' as they'd like you to think. AVOID!!!!!!!
