This is a well stocked and extremely well staffed store. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I really could not ask for better service or to have dealt with better informed people. I bought on-line from them before as their prices are very competitive. The store was the cream on the cake for me.
The customer service received from Michael and his team were excellent. As a long term canon user I was hesitant to move from full frame down to the OM system but it was exactly the right move as advised. I couldn't be happier with my new set up and am happily practicing in my garden before venturing out further. I traded in my used kit and received payment in my bank within 3 days. Prices offered were fair and omitted all the faff that comes with listing online. Job done
I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a camera from Toby, an exceptional salesman at park cameras. From the moment we walked in, Toby's friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge put us at ease. We had countless questions about various camera models, features, and accessories, and Toby patiently answered each one with expertise. We left happy with our second hand Olympus
I've had a poor experience with the trade-in department in Burgess Hill. I received an instant quote online and proceeded with this assuming a courier would come the next day to collect the lens. The DPD courier failed to turn up as the collection was never booked and therefore I had to contact Park Cameras and then they manually booked the collection service. The lens was collected and delivered the next day but then sat with their inspector for a while until again I had to chase them on email and phone for a final quote. Then eventually I received a anonymous email saying the lens was valued at £0 with no explanation or information on what to do next. I would have expected a phone call at the very least considering the time and effort for both parties involved. I assumed this was a mistake as the lens was in excellent condition. I had to chase them again, this time by telephone and the courteous person from sales was equally confused with the situation as he couldn't find any information on the system. He then proceeded to message someone in the background and then later that day I was called back to say they didn't want the lens. I asked Park Cameras to return the lens and provide tracking details but yet again, no response to any of my communications. My poor review score is purely on the customer experience which I found to be very lacking. It seems to be an issue with the trade-in department as the sales team tend to be very helpful and friendly. Perhaps some training is required for the valuation team on how to interact with customers. By the way, I decided to move forward with MPB who quoted an equivalent price for the lens. I'll be using them more going forward.
I recently built a new Olympus mft based system with Sharon and the manager at Park Cameras. I found the advice and opportunity to try before buying very helpful as had been looking at the new Panasonic G9ii. I also ordered a few things online after and found their service and communications excellent. I particularly like their use of a high proportion of sustainable packaging...it's good to see local companies getting more sustainable. A definite plus point imho
I needed a replacement Nikon 70-300 zoom lens, plus some lens use advice that I would never get if I bought on line. And that is exactly why Park Cameras are so good. Helpful and knowledgeable staff in this case an excellent young man called Toby very patiently explained what I needed, how the lens worked, and how to use it. Just what any hobbyist camera user needs when they are unsure and do not understand all the camera gobbledegook. Avoid the minefield of eBay and shop here if you can as the prices are very competitive. Highly recommended.
Went to Park Cameras yesterday to ask for some advice about second hand cameras and attend the wildlife day. I’m a complete novice but they were so helpful and gave me so much time, explaining everything so clearly and patiently! There was no pressure to spend lots of money, in fact I spent less than I thought I was going to. Definitely recommend this shop and I’m sure I’ll be back!

Friendly, knowledgeable, well stocked. Their used equipment perhaps isn’t as competitive on price and choice as the big online used retailers but for new kit with proper warranties it’s the best shop I’ve been to in the UK.
Really disappointed with park cameras after years of buying equipment from them. They are happy selling products, but their after sales service has disappeared. I had a repair service on a Canon mkII which afterwards the camera wasn't used for 18+ months and which they can check. Then, when I did try to use, found out the the same issue arose. Having spoke to PK, they have no interest in resolving the issue because its over 12 months since the repair irrespective of the camera not having been used. This is when you find out which business's truly value their customers. Park Cameras obviously don't. Perhaps there is no need for such companies if this is the level of service one can expect and we should just buy everything online until companies like PK become dinosaurs and dissapear.
