Cold food manager wouldn't listen wasn't very nice lady bad costumer service seal broken. Not eaten. after phoning the store the day after and speaking to the actual store manger I was able to get this sorted! I know mistakes happen it's how you deal with them! I went from never wanting a papas again to wanting to give them another chance! Thank you for sorting this for me! :
I CAN understand stuff shortages/problems. I CANNOT understand why I as a client have to chase what is going on with my order >1h later, more than once. This time got my semi-cold pizza in 90 mins. Previous - called after 1h to get: we will not have drivers for at least next two hours??! You can't call or what - if anybody cares at all. Especially after the 40-50% price hike in the past year.
So I placed an order on there app at 11am to be delivered on 5pm. At 5.20pm i gave them a call as there useless tracker claimed it was being checked at 4.40pm and hadn't changed in 40 minutes. The guy who answered the phone claimed it hadn't left the shop and was still on the hot rack due to no drivers. So not only did they have my order 6 hrs in advance, they didn't bother to call me to say it would be late!!! They obviously knew it was gonna be late. So no phone call, no apology and no discount on my next order. The pizza arrived at 5.40pm almost 1 hour since being cooked. Needless to say the cheese was stail as was clearly it wasn't fresh and it was almost cold. The delivery driver claimed they was busy but was a total lie as the guy on the phone admitted there was no drivers. Will I be going back? Nope!! My advice is save your money on the recently opened franchise and go to the normal high end pizza shop.
Tryed to place an order tonight in store told they where closed at 9. 15 pm very disappointed! Your loss going to domino's!
I had an issue with an online order duplicating, meaning I ended up paying twice and ended up with two orders. This poor review is not regarding the website as I can understand website bugs, but for the non existent Paignton store management. I rang the store to explain the situation and was informed that they assumed I had meant to order the same food twice and that I would be issued a refund, the only problem being that they couldn't issue card refunds from the Paignton store and it would have to be done from the Torquay store. I gave my card details to the man on the phone who said he would pass my card details onto the manager who would issue me a refund the next day. I rang up around 19:45 the next day to see if my refund had been processed but was told that isn't store policy and to get a refund I would have to email hq. I was given a non existent email address twice separate occasions over the phone. I was then told I would have to wait for the manager to call me back. It's now been over a week and I've not had a phone call. I've phones up 5 times in total and have been told the manager isn't in today but will definitely ring me back the next day which never happens. I've tried filling in an online complaint but the Paignton store isn't an option on the website, so I'm just stuck out of pocket. The amount of time I've wasted on this is an absolute joke. I recommend you avoid this establishment as customer service is absolutely non existent.
Meh.... Bland pizza, slow service... They also show very little respect to their customers! If your order is wrong, late, stale, etc.. then they will avoid going above and beyond to repair it. However, they have a decent selection of sides which are nice when they come quickly!!! If your order takes ages then domt expect them to be nice. I ordered the potato tots with cheese.. They were obviously cooked and left out for a while before being delivered because the cheese went stale and hard! They have a tendency of cooking and leaving food out for 30+ mins before actually delivering it. I was the victim to this amongst many many others. Truthfully, save your money and go dominoes. Or better still, grate some cheese on a slice of cardboard.. That will be the tastier and cheaper option
Worse pizzia we ever had bad all round service .Given a voucher but why would you use it if your food was crab. Burnt no topping
Highly rate! ..Food was nice and hot and they weren’t stingy with the toppings either, which domino’s 100% can be! Delivery driver polite and prompt. Great vegan range too!
If I could give zero stars I would. Some how they lost our order, so we had waited 40 minutes before they had realised that. Then they expected us to wait another 25 minutes. Got our money back and went to domino's and got our pizza in 10 minutes.
Absolutely awful service. Told delivery would be an hour to an hour and half. After an hour and a half we were told it would be 20 mins. After 40 minutes we were told that it was out of the oven and would be with us as soon as they had a delivery driver to collect it! It's been 2 and a half hours now and no sign of a pizza!
