This was my first experience at a Sri Lankan restaurant and they did not disappoint. We tried quite a few dishes everything came out in a timely manner and taste really good. The drinks were affordably priced. I would definitely eat her again if I was in the area!
First time here and it is enjoyable with my family here. The services are great and the staffs are friendly and they ensure we have a pleasant time here dinning in this restaurant. The food is fantastic and get to try the authentic food from Sri Lanka. Mutton briyani is chief kiss ! Definitely will come back and bring my friends along !

Have been coming to Papaya for years and it never disappoints. The Beef Columbo and mutton curry are unreal. All the starters and sides are always fresh and delicious. But my favourite are the fish and prawn house curries.Food: 5/5

We recently dined at Papaya Restaurant in Northfield, Ealing, and had an exceptional experience. We ordered the Mutton Rolls and Fish Cutlet to start. For main we had the delicious Fish Curry, Chicken Kothu Rotti and a plain Hopper, and each dish was simply amazing. The flavours were authentic and delicious, showcasing the rich culinary traditions of Sri Lankan and South Indian cuisine. The service was excellent, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend Papaya Restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. Absolutely delicious everything and wonderful vegan options too. We had lots of paratha, dosai, aubergine curry, pilau rice, and chicken jalfrezzi. Fresh lime juice and mango lassis were lovely too. Loved and recommend all. What a lovely gem of a place. Service was friendly and kind and attentive too. We will be regular customers now. Highly recommend!
I had some family over from South Africa and wanted somewhere local to eat for lunch. I’ve had lots of take aways from Papaya but never eaten in. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had mini masala dosai, mutton rolls, meat samosas and crab claws for starters. Two lumprais served on a banana leaf, nice touch and beef Colombio with lemon rice. All the dishes were amazing and full of flavour. I would highly recommend Papaya if you are in Northfields for a sit down meal.
Went here for dinner with my mate as he recommended this spot and after eating here I too will be recommending it to others. The service was fantastic , the individual took their time to recommend various menu items that suited our level of spice tolerance. The food was amazing , so many different flavours and textures. An absolute joy to eat here.
