We aways come here when we get an opportunity to be in this bit of town. Awesome, unique and tasty sandwiches had the lasagna one yesterday and I think it was one of my faves, alongside ham, egg and chips. Drinks are awesome, discovered here that the Ceaser cocktail is my favourite. Great vibes, staff, decor - just all round good fun
Absolute fantastic sandwich shop with specials on rotation that have you coming back. These are messy sandwiches and need the proper care and attention such masterpieces deserve. Well worth it, also recommend grabbing a sandwich and heading a few meters over to The Robin. A fantastic pub with live jazz

Max always has and always be the go-to place in London. Travel far and wide for these mammoth sarnies and delicious sides and the great team and service. Greeted as a friend and treated like royalty! Also the decor will always give you something to smile about!Food: 5/5
Really good sarnie. I was worried the bread would be stodgy and thick but it was fluffy and light. I should have got two because I was hungry when I got home. The potatos looked insane to. Good filter coffee in a lovely mug. Brilliant music playing overhead.Food: 5/5
What a sandwich excellent atmosphere and the food was just brilliant was not 100% sure about a sandwich for dinner but this was total the right choice. Could be good to have another veggie option in the menu and a non alcoholic beer but that's would just add to the experience.Food: 5/5
Wow - the rumors about Max’s is true! This is one of londons, if not the, best sandwich joints. As we were here for brunch it would have rude not to hit the Ham Egg & Chips sandwich! Knockout. Service is simple, entertaining and prompt. Can definitely recommend a cup of Joe, will be back next time for the house special cocktails.
Having seen Max on MasterChef a few years back, I was inspired to try his place. Went for the first time yesterday on the way to the Arsenal vs Leicester match, and bought myself the Spring Roll sandwich, which was truly scrumptious. Added to the fact that the staff were very friendly and the service was excellent, I will definitely coming back in the not too distant future! Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian myself, a very decent choice on offer!
One of the BEST sandwiches I've ever had! A random find that turned into a place I'll definitely go back to! Sandwiches are flavourful and packed with fillings. Plus, you get a glass of tap water as soon as you sit down great service! I recommend The Korean Gangster and the Ham, Egg 'N' Chips! Can't stress it enough, go HERE!
Our experience at Max's Sandwich Shop was truly transformative! The Ham & Egg and Et Tu Brute sandwiches were absolute delights. The unique combinations of flavours left us thoroughly impressed. Highly recommend for a culinary adventure!Food: 5/5
