Don't order the crab enchiladas. Stick to the tried and tested Mexican dishes and you won't go wrong. The ribs on starter menu are as good as anywhere. Oh and the STP was lovely. Enough sauce which can be a problem in some places. The only criticism would be lack of ice cream or even cream to go with.
I recently went here with my family for some lunch as it was recommended by my sister, whom was with me at the time. The first impression I got of this place was bad. I phoned up to book and the gentleman who answered was unpleasant and irritable sounding. When we reached the place and entered the restaurant, the waitress was very rude and passive. She didn't acknowledge us when we said we had booked. The food was nice but the atmosphere was depressing and the staff made it look even worse. There was one waitress in particular who was truly awfully rude and unpleasant- she was wearing specs and barely uttered a word to us. There was one female however who was very pleasant and it's a shame that her colleagues are giving the customer service, and thus, her name in that restaurant a bad name. I wouldn't recommend going here as, despite the decent food, the service and atmosphere is truly awful. What a let-down
Great food. We went in 2 of us on a Sat night with no reservation and got a table straight away right next to the door though. However we had to wait over 30 mins between our starter and main course. When the food did come, it was excellent big dishes and lovely wine too.
The food was good however staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. They never asked if we liked the meal, wanted more drinks, dessert or coffee. It was a Saturday night and they were cleaning and putting chairs up from 10:10pm.
BAD SERVICE AND RUDE STAFF COLD FOOD AND HIGH PRICES . 10/12/2012 Table for five . We asked and specified Halal food only . Waitresses recomendations were the chicken and vegatarian dishes. 2 fajitas -one piping hot and one stone cold . Vegetarian dish had Ham in it . The torrtillas looked good but the above ruined the mood . When we pointed this out the reply was "not my problem its watever is in the menu ." this from the waitress who recommended the food . We were not happy . And rather than cause a fuss we decided to pay and leave . Five plates of untouched food =£ 83.45 . In the rush to leave we put down £83 . They chased outside for the 45 pence . Never again . Buisnesses like this do not deserve your money and time . Our night out was ruined by insolent staff and bad service PANCHO VILLA PLEASE CLOSE DOWN OR SACK YOUR STAFF. And stop giving Glasgow a bad name .
Starters of nachos were nice but had to wait over 30 mins between starters being cleared and mains being served. These were cold as had been lying in the kitchen for a while so had to send back
Nice decor, good food. The service was fast and efficient. Don't really recommend the sangria though
