Way too expensive for the quality of food. Tablets service was basically nonexistent. Went with a party of 6 and definitely Will not be back. the food itself was ridiculous. £15 for a spread out portion of nachos which was made to look like a good portion size with the onion filled salsa and guac. really dreadful experience after ages of wanting to visit here.
The food was nice enough, however the flour tortillas which came with our fajitas seemed particularly small and there weren't enough of them. Slightly mean portions of salsa, guacamole, cheese and soured cream too. The food is definitely well overpriced for what it is. A bit of TTP. The service went from quick at the start of the meal to me having to turn my head around looking for staff later on. Staff were friendly though. Silverburn is definitely a buyer's market for dining out and I'm afraid I'll be buying elsewhere in future.
I was peraused not to complain at the time and so apologise for leaving a bad review without letting the staff no at the time but after thinking it over it was just not good enough. The staff were pleasant enough but the food was ok at best. I received my burrito on a broken as suspiciously dirty looking plate. The serving did not justify the price and I spent the duration of the meal picking uncooked rice from my mouth. We ordered a side of chips that was so miserable in size it was kind of funny and a side of coleslaw which was basically a small portion of roughly cut cabbage chucked in a dish. We shared a banana borito for dessert which was quite nice but over all I left hungry and £50 worse off for it. Dont think ill be back.
Visited with my girlfriend and my 4 month old son in a buggy, seated in a good seat with lots of space to have the buggy in. Everything went down from there. For our starters I ordered BBQ wings but got served hot wings, no big deal as hot sauce was nice and not too spicy. Girlfriend ordered buffalo chicken tenders and got served 3 sorry slivers of chicken no bigger than a McDonalds chicken nugget. For nearly £6 this was a rip off to say the least. For the main she ordered the paella which was in her words ‘tasteless’, I got a chicken dish which had overly salty bacon, very slimey mushrooms and chicken that must’ve been cooked on a grill that had never been cleaned, the parts that didn’t taste like charcoal which was very little were dry and no thicker than the fries it came with. Price of soft drinks also a rip off, four 330ml glass bottles of coke cost us £10.40, for the equivalent of 4 cans of coke but in glass bottles. In short, save your time and money, plenty of other places to choose from nearby.
Im really unsatisfied as me & my fiancèe went to dinner there last night. The spring rolls were extremely soggie. The main course came with raw veg & no fries. If i wanted raw veg then i would have went to tesco next to the centre and bought raw veg. By the time the fries came to the table the rest of my meal was cold which really annoyed me. My partners chicken also didnt look quite cooked properly which put us also off of our meal. When our meals got to the table i over heard the fact that another customers chicken also had issue & heard another customer complain that part if their chicken was still raw. A member of staff came to my table to ask what the problem with the chicken was before we had a chance to start eating showing there was problems with the chicken all night. £50 i was charged and that was after waiting 10 minutes for my bill which nearly made us late for our movie. Giving this 1 star is really generous. The food standard is rediculious. Its extremely over priced and i wont be back..
Was in tonight and let me just say i would never go back. I ordered nachos for two and when we had eaten them we lifted the grease proof bit of paper thats on the bottom of the large metal plate. On lifting the paper we noticed black very burnt cheese that had been there for a while and the plate had loads of it under the paper. On asking staff if they ever got cleaned showed them what was under the paper they were shocked and said they would ask the kitchen staff why it was like this but never came back to explain. Then our main meals came out and the lettuce was brown and looked very old. The chips were very very salty the tomatoes on my sons plate were so old that the skin looked dry and wrinkly i have threw better in the bin to be honest. The best part of the meal for for me is when we were leaving £60 is alot of money and not to get good quality of food i say the place has went down hill as i ha e been in before but this had to be my worst experience ever i will eat somewhere else now
Had the Kalimari to start it was delicious and the pulled chicken enchiladas which were also very good. Was pretty full but still managed to squeeze in the cheese cake which was ok. The kids enjoyed there's as well. Service was good.
Located in Restro land in Silverburn this Tex Mex restaurant did not really hit the mark. I had the lunch menu and although the price was adequate the food was bland and did not have the vibrance of authentic Mexican food. The service was fine although it should be as restaurant was empty. The one positive is it's better than burrito bar nearby
Starters came on dirty plates and main course was very underwhelming with frozen fries and frozen mince meat. they also tried to pass of a rump steak as a sirloin steak what an absolute joke Having said that the waitress was great but doesn't make up for the food that was served I definitely won't be returning to chimichangas Silverburn
Excellent lunch today! Two courses £10.95 Big portions, friendly staff, lovely restaurant! Would definitely go back and recommend.
