The Parlour
"Established in the west end of Glasgow on April fools day of 2017 – all jokes aside The Parlour has plenty of tricks up its sleeve. By day a relaxed and cozy coffee house with comfy booths. By night we transform into a busy, cocktail focused bar playing old school hip hop, disco and house tunes!"

I don't often leave bad reviews but I honestly cannot in good faith recommend the Parlour. I wanted a burger, but what they failed to mention while ordering is that you have to specify whether you want a burger or a wrap. I just mentioned the name of what I wanted, the staff didn't ask me if I wanted a wrap or a burger and brought me a wrap. So I get my burger wrap and bite into it, but all I get is wrap and sauce. The burger patty is less than half the size of the wrap. My burger was mostly swimming inside the wrap. When I finally manage to bite into the meat I'm met with the most overcooked and flavorless patty I've ever tasted. Honest to God it was like someone just took mince and cooked it for 15 minutes. There were two patties in my wrap and it felt like biting through rubber. Beyond the issue with receiving a burger within a wrap, I have absolutely no trust that this meat would've been good even in a brioche bun. Halfway through the meal the copious amounts of what they call BBQ sauce, which tasted more like watery Sriracha broke through the wrap making it impossible to hold it. On the bright side the fries were pretty good. The only reason this review isn't one star is because it didn't give me food poisoning. Next time I'll just buy a Rustlers in Tesco.
Really nicely decorated inside, with plenty of seating. The menus are all online, with a great range of cocktails and drinks available. We only had a couple of drinks but the food menu also looks pretty good. There’s a large outdoor area with parasols and heaters so it would suit all weathers. I’d love to come back here!
Was going to leave this place 2 stars cause the chips were tasty but their food has actually made me physically sick so one star it is. That was the worst “burger” served on a wrap for some reason?? I’ve ever had in Glasgow, and believe me I’ve had a few. My partner ordered me the chicken burger which I was pretty excited about as how can you go wrong with that? And the chicken to batter ratio was shocking. As you can see in the photo the meat was horrendously shrunken and over fried. I was hungry so I ate as much as I could but couldn’t stomach the crunchy, oily dregs and tbh glad I couldn’t. If I’d eaten the whole thing god knows how sick I would be feeling right now. Currently nursing a sore stomach which I’m hoping is just GI inflammation due to how much grease I ingested and not food poisoning. One star for the outdoor seating which was pleasant
Busy buzzy cocktail bar. Drinks were good, music loud. Good Friday vibe
Had a fantastic meal here last Thursday. The tacos r cheaper during the week. The tacos were chicken which was really hot and spicy and the lamb was delicious too. Great chips. Veg burrito tasty too. Not a huge menu but really great. Reasonably priced. Lovely and warm inside with a fireplace.
Great spot for small food and drinks. The decors of this place is dope, they got pictures of notable artists all over, my favourite being Biggie. I ordered Spicy Lamb Tacos and a Mango Margarita and they were real good! Service was alright, it was a tad bit slow because it was a Saturday night. Cool atmosphere, though!
Don’t order food. It was the worst. First, the pizza I ordered was too burnt. And I asked them to change it with much generosity. Instead, they gave me burger but the taste was cheap. Maybe you can cook much better.
Drinks were good, but the place was packed to the point of not being able to move easily, and the music was louder than most of the bars in the area.
Stopped in for a few drinks after Glasgow. Live music/open mic on. Such a great atmosphere.
Okay - expensive and rude staff who were more interested in texting or talking to each other than serving you. Won’t be back.
