Did not book but thankfully they had a space for our motorhome on the hottest day of the year. Site was very clean as was the shower block. Was midweek so quiet and peaceful just heard the birds and cows and sheep close by. Lovely views off the surrounding hills and countryside. Not far from Twywn town. Owner D could not do enough for us. Will definitely be back.
Amazing site it’s clean tidy and everyone is so welcoming came here camping with friends 5 years ago and then bought a caravan a sited here 5 years later I’m still loving it nRichard and dwynwen are such a lovely couple very approachable and really care about their family site and have pride of the site in its appearances and have a high standard the showers are lovely the grounds are kept clean and tidy and well maintained.nIf your looking for a family run caravan park then here is the place
I advise never to stay here, wish i could give less then 1 star. The owners are very rude and have a lot of attitude specially if you write a negative review while on site about your stay so far, they will trace you down and argue and harass you until you leave. We only made a negative review as people who are sited tourers had a party/get together and the noise went on till well over midnight and not respectful of anyone around them or kids trying to get to sleep. When we tried to phone the owners it kept saying service was unavailable so was unable to get in-touch with them. when this was told to the owners they said we needed to get out of ours and leave my children on their own in the caravan to knock them up in the middle of the night to tell them.nWhen we arrived we was just dumped on the end of a sited field with no electricity, even tho we booked this weeks in advance. for us to have electric they had to run us a cable from the other side of the field which kept going off and they said there is a problem with the electrics on the site. Their excuse was why we was dumped there was; the bottom field was to mucky for us to go on but when i walked my dog down there, there was other caravans and tents on there.nThe toilet/shower block was horribletoilets with no locks on, toilets blocked of poo, no toilet paper, flies flying around in there, had funky smell, the waste disposal was all dirty with dirty mops everywhere, rubbish all by the bins. Also during the day the sited caravans had their radios on really loud, so if your looking for a quiet get away i would not even bother going on this site. Keep well away
Not very happy with the stay so far. Adults holding parties until way after 11:30pm, kids aged 16+ occupying the children's play park all to their self's. Tried to contact security and no number provided for this.**JUST ALSO TO ADD** if you leave a review while you are on site expect a visit like I did. Both the owners come and knocked on my caravan asking me about why I left such a low review, and apparently because they asked the people who have Thier tourers sited on here if they could here the noise in question and they said no even tho it was them lot who was making all the noise we must of been lying. The owners becuse we made a bad review against the site as said came knocking on my caravan at 5pmISH making you feel not welcome we had to leave the site so by the time we packed up it was after 7pm and had to drive with 2 children and 2 very nervous dogs also which the site knew as when making the booking months in advance I asked for a quite area due to nervous dogs but on arival got put in most noisest area of park as apparently bottom field was to wet through the night and didn't get home until after 11 pm. Yes the lady owner can't remember her name only charged for 2 nights as a gesture of good will but the male owner his attitude is appalling, we have been coming to tywyn for 18 years+ we have family who own static caravans in tywyn and now due to this I won't visit tywyn again. So if you do visit here and you leave a review do it when you are back home after your stay or if you leave a negative review whilst on site expect a visit from the owners.
Beautifully kept caravan park. Touring and static site. Mile walk into Tywyn High Street.
