A very laid back, beautiful Campsite, we arrived on a Wednesday and no one was around so we phoned and was told just to choose a pitch and set up, we were staying with no hookup, so choose our pitch and got ourselves sorted. The site is perfectly situated for both the mountains and the coast. We love our kayaking so being between Aberdovey and Barmouth was brilliant. The facilities are the best we've had on the many sites we have been to and some hotels too, they were very clean. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere to camp in the area and will definitely be coming back ourselves
Just returned from a week in our motorhome at this lovely site. Very clean toilets and showers. Close to all the shops and the beach and to the train station with lots of places close by to visit. Lovely lady Sian came to collect our payment and to take bookings for later in the year
Brilliant site,gets busy but well organised, good pitch sizes ,excellent views
Nice location with sea view, modern toilet block not cleaned during our stay. Haphazard booking system with daily checks from owner ! Ten minute walk to town and attractions. Very quiet at night.
Back in the 90's my family and I spent many holidays there in our touring caravan. My late wife's Auntie used to run the shop on the site. Due to purchasing a chalet on a sister site I had to go to Vaenol to complete some paperwork. The visit bought back many happy memories.
Very quiet, open site. Excellent, new and modern facilities with washing up sinks too. Difficult to find the recycling point as well as drinking water with very little signage around. All in all a lovely campsite
Great location grass only pitch.....showers spotless and spacious..... 10min walk to town trains etc

Beautiful site for camping at a realistic price.showers..washing facilities spot on. The lady owner was ever so helpful and cheerful. I recommend this place.
Good facilities, friendly owners. Nice new showers and toilets. Watch out for the man on the mower, he gets very close to the electric hook up cables and while we were there he cut through someone's cable
