Went here on an MTB wk end. So when we checked in we were a little muddy. Staff said that was fine if we wanted to go in the function room and watch football & have a beer. They cleared a store room for our bikes overnight (we still locked them up). They have 2 other bars (restaurant bar and sports bar ) sports bar was fun & was open till late. Room was clean and had tea/coffee, bathroom was very modern with shower and ample towels soaps etc . Views from the room were good, and was within walking distance of a nice Indian restaurant we ate at. All in all a pleasant stay and would recommend

Great rooms, great food, great staff! the whole place has been recently refurbished by the lovely new owner to a high standard.

The hotel was in a great location with wifi and amazing facilities, great food and friendly staff, rooms were a good quality , beds were very comfortable. Recommend going on a sunday for the fantastic roast dinners !!

Just recently opened after change of ownership. Staff very helpful. Set in an ideal place to view Slate museum and Electric Mountain. Good price. Clean accommodation. Good Restaurant. Sports bar also. Enjoyed the stay. Would revisit.
