Sustainable, cosy, as close as you can possibly stay to clogwyn and the legend of the councillors seat...! Josh was super friendly and accommodating, giving lifts up the track and recommendations for stunning secluded walks. We had a cloud inversion!

Have stayed a in a lot of lodges/bunkhouses. Crashpad is absolutely top. It is 'bigger on the inside' i.e. lots of space, a big main room for nights with everyone next to the fire and a huge kitchen. Beautiful setting on the hillside next to a stream. (I think it might be the closest public bunkhouse to Snowdon.) Owner Josh was well on top of the organisational side of things.

Unbelievable weekend at Crashpad!! Group of 14 of us went for an adventure filled stag do. Josh was on hand to help with anything we needed and made us feel like family/friends rather than customers! We went ZipLining nearby, had a meal out in Menai Bridge, climbed Snowdon and spent lots of time chilling at the lodge with a big BBQ and games. It's a brilliant balance between being near enough to explore what Snowdonia has to offer whilst also completely off-grid and almost feels like going back in time escaping the world by being remote. This is hands down probably the best place I have stayed in the whole of the UK. If you like nature and adventure then Crashpad will be like a little piece of heaven in the heart of Snowdon.....Can't wait for my next visit!
