Simon and Sonni were amazing hosts—I felt so welcomed from the moment I arrived. The facilities were impeccably clean and had everything you could need. It was my first time staying in a hostel, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I felt really comfortable throughout. Simon’s food was excellent and exactly what I needed after a long run.nnA great experience overall—I’ll definitely be back!
Booked one night here as it was both my first time in a hostel and my first time solo, and ended up adding another night!nSonni was so welcoming, helpful and friendly and the dinner and cooked breakfast were delicious.nLocation wise for me was perfect as I wanted to explore the quarry and it was about a 40min walk into Llanberis following the slate trail, and in the evenings I was more than happy to sit and chill in the lounge.nThe lounge was comfy and well thought out, bathroom was spotless with good showers and the bunks which I was most nervous about felt really cosy and private!nWould definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone :
Always LOVE this beautiful Lodge. Sonni & Simon - the owners, are just delightful. Delicious breakfast and evening meals, great comfy beds, hot showers, stunning lounge area. Incredible views! Will always stay here when I'm in the area
Dad and myself stayed Friday-Monday, we cannot fault the owners of Dinorwig Hostel. Made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the very end, breakfast was brilliant, the views from the hostel were outstanding! Amazing value for money, the hostels layout is very well presented and captured every detail, it is secure and the beds were really comfortable. We will definitely be back, whether that be together or a solo trip. Many thanks to Sonni & Simon you both are a credit to your business.
The hostel is up on the mountain, with onsite parking. The interior is super cozy, with beautiful views over the mountains. Food is great and the owners are friendly and welcoming.
